Most places are dangerous to some degree, because they have predators.
Thermal spires has those ||armored cryptosuchus|| things. They’re more annoying than anything but there are a lot of them around. There’s some smaller critters as well, the ||rock punchers|| those aren’t really spoilers much, but just in case someone is not wanting to know about the creatures yet

The little cavern that connected the Shield Base (The previous name for the Phase Gate Facility) to Hoverzone 3 made it so that the player had to jump off a ledge, making it impossible to climb back up. That means if you parked your Seatruck via the way you originally entered it (The Fabricator Caverns), you would have to travel the long way around to access it. So that's another reason as to why they probably removed it.

so uh, long story short, ||i kind of neglected the land aspect of the game, so i focused more on constructing al-an's body before finding out what happened to sam. i'm currently exploring the tunnel where parvan's office is (which i'm assuming is also where the leviathan with kharaa is) and out of nowhere AL-AN makes a remark, implying that he's either communicating with Robin and can still see what she sees, or that he's still in her head. he mentioned before that there are still remnants of him in her mind, but i'm assuming he was referring to her memories of him and not in a literal sense.|| i'm wondering if this is an oversight/a bug, or if it's intentional and that there's an explanation that i'm just not understanding

It is more efficient to just bring one extra storage module if you are willing to take aquarium with you.

You can literally use it to take much more food with you than aquarium can provide and wont even need to waste power.

as long as placement is "grid restricted", it means the piece is part of your base. Can hide a couple rooms below, and fill them with reinforcement
