In the original game, I make my prawn pink because it it easy to see so I don't drown, and because the color shifts depending on certain lighting in different biomes.
Making something darker or hard to see can be detrimental too if you're looking for O2, keep in mind.
Not really super important, but something to think about.

Yeah, BZ is harsh on Oxygen, the more cramped, vertical map should've gotten a little more QC before being introduced. Just try to use vehicles as air pockets, and get the rebreather to help out. Sometimes you need to take a chance with oxygen plants.

in the deeper parts of the twisty bridges, just south of the life pod, there's some ravines you can swim down to eventually get 300m under the surface. when you find a diamond, you'll more than likely find a lot more nearby

when you build a seatruck loading dock for your base, it comes with a machine right next to where you get out of the truck where you can recolor and rename your seatruck

also you re-explained everything i already knew, i said that i knew how to recolour the seatruck but the added-on modules werent recolouring (turns out they were, but the colour is off from the seatruck module itself for some reason)
which i think was a bad design choice

you put the thermos in the coffee box, and it makes coffee automatically like in normal Subnautica (which i'll probably just start calling SN from now on)
no matter how long you hold onto a filled thermos, drinking coffee from it will automatically restore 50 temp to the player
so if you can make 2 or more, you can survive in the cold for a very long time
it does deplete like 2 thirst though
