Hi, I've been playing through below zero and seem to have finished the game, (spoilers), I first decided to ignore Al-an for the most part and focus on Sam's story helping marguerit maida but after I got to her greenhouse I didn't get any idea on where to go so I went to all the different facilities and learned about the frozen leviathan, having no clue where it might be I decided to help Al-an assuming it would all fall together but today I constructed his body and left the planet, still unsure of what happened to Sam and the leviathan. There is a || cave nearby, you have to follow the flood light stick things to get into the old women's base, you can scan a lot of plants and blueprints there so make sure to bring extra batteries, theres also a lot of rare stuff like rubys, also dont worry about oxygen since theres a lot of oxygen plants there, as far as I discovered there is no angry fishe there except a few barnacle plants thing ||

can I just say this makes NO sense? This implies that my Seaglide's sonar is not, in fact, a sonar, but is being satellite fed information of my geographical location. Why would I rely on GPS Satellites for a planet that Alterra barely knows anything about, why is this even the technology I'm using over a regular sonar built into the seaglide in the first place.

The real reason is because the terrain on land is using a lot of props like rocks, icicles, ... And the holographic map is just miniature meshes of the voxeland. It would be way off without all those props.
