There’s actually a small ore vein tucked away underneath one of the large rooms inside the Phi Robotics base (go underneath and check around, carefully, it helps if you have the highlight interactables from accessibility menu turned on)

That’s the easiest place to get it, since you’re probably in the area.
Otherwise, you can find some magnetite in the place where the huge cotton anemones are

yeah but imo they only take feedback they deem worthy. like in early access a vocal minority was complaining about "voice actors sound too old to relate to" so they had to go out and hire 20 year olds and completely rewrite the story 3 times

I'm sorry, only fix is if you have local backups, or maybe system restore. Steam cloud sync removed your saves.
