I once had a glitch where I got stuck inside the cabin and it played the animation of starting to drive it super slowly

when I finally managed to exit it, I was stuck in the piloting position

had to quit without saving and wound up losing around an hour of progress

Hey guys, I have a quick question! From the recent news post, the devs mentioned they were adding a sort of 'custom challenge' mode to Below Zero, where you can customize settings such as resources.
Do the devs intend to add this to the OG Subnautica as well?

it makes no sense, one minute my game will be running perfectly smooth with high fps then suddenly it'll drop down to like below 20 for a while, then eventually fix itself again

with my hardcore save in SN1 it made perfect sense it'd do that cause I had a lot of huge bases, so lag was understandable
but this is a fairly new save with very little base building done, and BZ is supposed to more optimized than SN1
yet with BZ given a high priority in the task manager, PC restarted, and every app on my computer closed except BZ it still gets the lag spikes and I am completely lost as to what is happening

yup, the mod works for the og subnautica, if your friend has the game on epic game or steam (ms store version doesn't work rn) you can play together

tho before you buy your friend the game, just know that there are still some small bugs with the mod because the game was not made for multiplayer. also you'll need to port forward or use an app like Hamachi or Radmin (i recomend you use Radmin, it works very well and its easy to use)

the mod doesn't have the ability to host a server. so you would need to run it on your computer. (the server is right in the mod's home page, you wont need to download anything extra), then for someone to be able to join you'll need to open whats called a port (basicaly a door) on your internet so your friends can join. if you use an app like Hamachi or Radmin, you wont need to do all the port forwarding. all you have to do it turn the app on and have your friend connect to you. from there you can play multiplayer :D

I detached all of the modules from the truck and started driving it. The camera then got locked in a weird downward angle but I could still drive it. I docked the truck at the Moonpool and it fixed itself. However, when I went to reattach the truck to the modules, I got soft-locked.

not sure if i like the changes made to the prawn

particularly how the top speed is very limited and u deaccelerate very quickly if you're above it

big nerf to the grapple which was my favorite part about the prawn in the first one

and i tested with F1, the "speed boost" isnt a speed boost at all in fact it limits your velocity to about 6, all it does is somewhat maintain your horizontal position

makes pretty much no difference on the ground too

and you fall super slow

and turning feels weird

the only real plus is that the jump jet upgrade is pretty much built in now which is nice

In the first game the Emperor needed to make peepers spread the enzyme around so I doubt it could get very far on just water

i think they tried to put too much story in to the game. it was cool seeing ||margarite|| but i don't think it was really needed in the story. in pretty sure you can go most if not all of the game without doing/finishing there stories. the only one that truly matters is ||AL-AN||
