The base is located at -1315 -650 -400 in a cave just in front of a Lost River entrance (the one at the bottom of the Trench)

It takes full advantages of the space (and the cave view!), big enough to park a Cyclops & can feature two moonpools +scanner room

still havent quite figured out the habitat builder, but this is my first outpost. an explanation of the base, its a main outpost for a group of 3 researchers surveying the crater in search of the degasi reminance, along with adding the alien life to known pda sources among alteras trans-gov, the 3 live out of a cyclops for the majority of the time spent on 4546B so a main outpost was established to have a different environment to call home and to recharge powercells, swap vehicles and restock food and water supplies whilst also being able to house other crew for possible crew swaps. the base its self is powered by a nuclear reactor which i have distanced away from the base, as seen in a photo below. the main purpose was to allow a cyclops to easily look intergrated into the design of a base whilst it also being able go look sound without one, hence no ‘parking spot’ and instead just a simple ‘dock’ method was used.

Pros:

• Overview on Cool Round Rock™
• near to Blood Kelp biom, so a lot of oil for bioreactor and all glass you could wish for
• thermal vent spires are also not too far, if you don't want to be dependent on fuel
• alien sanctuary right there, if you want to visit them in their deep deep stasis (or rob their graves)

Cons:

• bit baren
• Not enough space in crater itself to put moonpool properly (without overlapping with meteor)
• neighbor is really loud and keeps chewing my prawn suit

Je voulais faire une base un peu dans le style “centre de recherche” construit pour étudier la faune et la flore de 4546B. Je me suis inspiré de la base de Below Zero qui était enfouie sous la glace : je trouvais ça stylé, alors j’ai essayé de trouver mon propre “modèle” de base, un truc où j’aime me balader et que je trouve classe.

Je compte avoir trois bases : celle-ci, une dans le Lost River et une autre proche d’un Sea Emperor ||même si celle-ci est déjà pas mal proche, au final||.
Elles garderont toutes plus ou moins le même style.

D’ailleurs, si tu remontes un peu dans la conversation, tu trouveras une vidéo que j’avais faite pour ma base dans le Lost River. Voilà voilà !

(puis j'aime bien build mes base proche des leviathan mais je les fait tous glitch mdr le faucheur se retrouve au dessus de ma base et au lost river le ghost a traverser un mur et a depop j'ai l'impression)
