#đ awesome-bases
1 messages ¡ Page 6 of 1
also, are StarshipCargoCrate, StarshipCircuitBox and StarshipMonitor still unlockable in 2.0? i've seen that they've removed them from the builder tool in bz, but i think i havent tested them in living large
Cosy little base you've got there
Thanks!
I really like to create small bases and small rooms because they are pretty easy to decorate imo
why do you have a capsule on display
i had one nearby, so why not?
it may also be used as something else
ok.....
i found a capsule to bring home but i dropped it and it fell through the floor(
Drymanchik this is your name in english
dreamanchik, almost
NOOOOOOOO
but. i learned that you can move alcohol bottles!!!!
wait, you can?
oh my god
no idea how to make one stand
you cant really place them anywhere
they will fall through props and a bottle of alcohol in the water is just strange
but maybe you can do something with them
i'm turning my moonpool into a trash garage
ooh, the moonpool
thats a great idea, but the bad part is those props still use world's light
On this BZ playthrough, I'm spending more time creating bases and tbh I'd live in here for an underwater vacation home
Hey, Dream! I love your base. I hope you don't mind me giving you an English nickname.
Very cozy
I dunno if this qualifies as awesome but it's a big mountain tower base
With my best friend Davey
Thank you!
Its nice to see you being an admin here
Too many water filtration, how do you keep them all running?
one nuclear reactor can barely support them all, so 2 nuclear reactors?
woah u have a reaper outside ur base thats impressive
2 nukes and 2 bio
NUKES?

Nuclear reactors
what do you guys think about my void base/observatory?
Pretty cool
Send us some pics of the ghosties
all bases are awesome
But this one is good bcs it's unique
I really like it
And the bases that look really cool but then are just completely empty and not finished on the inside
massive but not decorated
I have a massive base and finished decorating inside
Decorating took 10 large lockers of titaniun and 5 lockers of copper, gold, silver, glass and whatnot
Decorating is resource heavy
Gonna hop on subnautica for a bit now and add more to my mushroom base
nowhere near done yet
Any other storage or food/water solutions?
stuff as much wall lockers in your cyclops, bulbo trees in a cyclops and base for ez food and water
Then you get attacked and and your cyclops gets destroyed and you lose everything
Imma be dead real here. I played through the entirety of subnautica it took me around 25 hours and I never ever had a vehicle destroyed. Not once idek what the animation looks like. Yes I did also encounter many leviathans
i can't stop tinkering with this spot.
How the hecc did you obtain those unobtainable flora
prop canon.
bottom text.
The unscannable ones yeah
i need purple pine cone.
Pine cone
Pine cone
I've got almost 3 days of Subnautica on my game and i completed it, never had any vehicle destroyed because i didn't risk it
Same, first playthough, no deaths/vehicle losses. Took me around 50 hours I believe.
It just explodes in place. If its a cyclops its wreckage will fall to the seabed, allowing you to swim inside and access whatever items you put in there
Ive never had it happen in survival. Only when I was testing in creative
You can still access vehicle modules, lockers, deconstruct habitat builder items (i.e. fabricator, medkit fabricator, modification station.) Only things destroyed with the cyclops death are docked vehicles.
Was always very cautious with the cyclops and stuff. Used the shields and the low speed setting a lot in the late game
#subnautica-chat âŹ ď¸ We should go here if we're going to continue.
I died lots, lost my seamoth once (R.I.P Scout. You will be missed) and it took me around 75 h i think.
Oof
A slow and paranoid playthrough is always the best one
Couldn't have done it any better
I have a play through with 8 days in it, I just barely cured disease
That's a solid playthrough, as long as u didn't ask any questions or searched up locations
That's where I messed up
Practice
Did the Ghost will not break the base ? đ¤ (I'm New)
creatures don't damage bases. but certain projectiles can somehow clip in through and kill fish in your tank(
Or power off your baseâs lights permanently if itâs a small fish shot at your base with a prop cannon
Personally, my favorite animal to keep as a pet is Glow Whales, but for normal subnautica i like Stalkers.
Do they bite?
wait wait wait, did you somehow bring the alien mechanized spiders to your base? are they moving?
They crawl on everything. I took them through temporary moon pool (they can totally escape through it btw)
A little, didnât bit me once yet. They arenât as aggressive as cave crawlers, they just vibe +in reinforced suit they do almost no damage
Yeah please ask in the proper channel đ
"Glass is perfectly valid building material at this depth"
[below zero]
yes
Wait, how'd you get that deep in bz?
Stubborness.
Built off the edge by ventgarden. Found a recess in the vertical wall where I could build while staying outside lobsetr aggro range. kept going deeper and deeper until this. Now working around the wall to get into non-aggro zone with no bottom, so I can build carefree downwards
interesting.
Also: Please send me 100 lockers of titanium, I'm a bit short
Wild bro, cant believe u transported those thinfs
no.
wait there is a mod for vertical lockers but i don't know how to install mod loaderđ
i must defend my honour. Tutorial on how to get cheap booze in your base in subnautica:
step 1: obtain booze from booze location (examle: aurora cafeteria), use prawn suit propulsion arms to transport it to your base (exit prawn suit, grab booze with regular propulsion cannon).
step 2: use your temporary moonpool to get the booze on board (you can't grab things again once inside so DON'T let go)
step 3: align the booze using walls
Your telling me transported that single bottle from the aurora to the lava zone?
i transport 2 objects at a time. i live on the mountain corridor shortcut - it's a straight-forward op path from surface to PCF
what to do with the glowing round things (the ones that aren't barnacles)? their collision box is huge and circular - they roll around and appear floating, don't quite fit in(
i would throw them away but they are so precious(((((
Eat them
Try to just place them on flat surfaces, like foundations or roofs
Oh, its actually pretty easy
You just download bepinex from nexus, put everything from the zip into your subnautica folder and then just launch the game to generate a folder in your bepinex folder named plugins
In it you put all the mods
But keep in mind that not all mods work with the living large update. A good indicator of mod being exactly for 2.0 is that it doesnt have a file named mod.json
wait, but how did you get the locker into the moonpool? i dont know why but i cant get it through it
oh, and also how did you placed the door so perfectly?
wait, no, i did get it
you just need to run around the moonpool, which is a bit strange, but ok
i have an isolated leak in my base. the lights are 'off' because it's technically flooded
shouldnt the leak flood your base?
it's isolated between 2 bulkhead doors. i damaged the compartment by throwing things at it and closed the doors. if i open them - the water will fill the rest of the base.
intended light adjustment mechanic.
hm, smart
Let the plush boi have the booze, hand him a bottle
it's forever stuck unless i deconstruct the whole observatory or my robot spider knocks it over
you can also just do a bug where you would swim in a base
your propulsion cannon only works if the game thinks that you are not in the base
Modded save I'm guessing considering the dragonball poster
And the colored fabricators
But overall its nice tho
That was what gave it away for you?
Well its been a while since I last touched subnautica
fair
Fair
But still the setup of the base is nice imo
Well I mean bedroom but still
Noice
wait how do you have
large rooms in subnautica
Latest update a couple months ago. Where have you been lol
hi
not on og subnautica apparently
Yes og Subnautica. #announcements message
What are the best building tricks for efficiency, i.e sideward lockers for more storage
Some people utilize more than one Fabricator at a time so they can craft things in bulk much faster.
You can fit more plants in the same area using multiple plant pots instead of a grow bed.
Just aesthetically I like pots for trees and beds for lots of small plants...
work in progress.
Looks legit, yes?
Yea
Looks great!
Nice health
Eat a medpack quickly
I like to download mods and build bases so I made this.
Sure
8/10
Yay
10/10 if it has a bioreactor
I have one at the blood kelp by my base and yes a hud chip
Nice
Welcome to the Home Depo
We got, explosive crates
Machine hand
Very small cats
doofensmurf in penquin form
believe it or not, it's spelled depot
This is truly heart broken
truly an unfortunate moment
Truly one of the moments of all time
"Dry Feet" base.
2 large rooms, 2 multi rooms, scanner and moonpool.
Powerered by solar, having quite power shortages đ
woa nice
woa 'Ice"?

I may have to rework the solar. Or should I just slap an nuke reactor in?
Put in more solar panels. You should be fine on power with about 25. Or you could just, yknow, use a few bioreactors
will 7 water filtering machines be a problem here?
perhaps
Yes. Also you just need 1 or 2 to give you a steady supply of water.
that would be true, if the base was anywhere nearby water
unless ice counts
yikes, it seems a nuclear generator cant keep up with 7 water filters at all
Hm fair
this looks wild nice job
eats plastics and other chemicals
Logical healing đ
be careful guys
This happened to me.
Lmao thats like the bulkhead glitch but glitchier
Dw if you use a hatch youll return back to swimming mode
Base in Tree spires
4x Large rooms
1x Moonpool
1xSeatruck bay
my lr base
So, once you have the truck dock, what do you need a moonpool for? Don't you just leave the Prawn docked to the back of the truck?
a weird combo of nuclear, thermal, and bio
If it works it works
Ye but it doesnât charge
So u charge through moonpool
Charging,Customizing the Prawn suit
putting on modules and etc
started a tree house
we all float down there.
below zero terrain collision is the collisionest collision to have ever collisioned
Iâm thinking about making a whole town
I wanna have a whole neighborhood of houses then a bunch of big buildings like hotels and what not
yeah happened to me before lol
rip
My small test in LR
based location. very underrated lr biome
true
Yeah lr is very underrated in terms of aesthetics.
Correct
Nice base out of this world literally
How is your base integrity positive with that many windows?
Look at the bottom level.
And you can see others in the large room in the previous pic.
What does lr mean
Lost river
Oh
How did u color your base
True Base Colorizer mod by AlHazrad111
Current integrity is higher than 100. I always reinforce the i-connection walls and some large rooms
Wow okay
Mine has 80 i think and is half the size of yours
personally I'm not a huge fan of the green which is why I'm normally inclined to build in the Tree Cove if I do base in the LR
Fair
which is weird cause normally I love green but just the shade and the way it's used in the LR just feels kinda off to me
it doesn't feel lush, it's almost sickly if you get what I mean
probably the brine that creates that effect
The brine is my favorite part tbh
Now build it in survival
I built it in survival ^^ i have never played any other mode
is there a way to organically add another multipurpose room?
or build a tube to the surface
You could move the observatory and look into adding a room somewhere off of that
this is my void base @drowsy dew
Nah I only like the zigs the zags arenât for me
Are you sure? That second zag looks pretty awesome đ
I mean if you like the zags go for it but they just arenât to my taste
But I must agree the second zag is one of the better ones that Iâve seen
My greenhouse in the arctic spires!
Let the ice worm in, hes hungry
for real. never saw anyone built near worms, pretty rare and cool
this pic is pog
See? He just wanted a snack!
i think i bugged the game when i built it bc the ice worms werent spawning
they do now-
he aint getting my fevered peppers
I am guessing you use salads as your food source
thats what i mainly have in my seatruck yes
but i actually kinda just eat fruit i bring home from my greenhouse
mainly prestons delights
thx!
Salads are really good because theyâre literally better than nutrient blocks and you could not make anything near as good in classic subnautifa
not really but kinda.
i misunderstood that
i'd say so tho
but in the dunes you dont get jumped as much my giant worms that are almost impossible to avoid
u lost m8
Guys please use #subnautica-chat this has devolved away from base discussion
yeah just realized
like because monke
In Dune the worm always come to get you (if you make noise)
work area within the staff layer
Is that in bz or base game how did you get those?
Seems like regular, they are props you can pickup in the aurora and other wrecks
Base game, get what?
base game as in the regular subnautica and those science kits thing
i just love having leviathans outside my window
You can find those in the aurora
And in other wrecks too
So thatâs what a void chel looks like.
Its 2.5x times bigger then a normal chelicerate
And what is the size difference between the ghosts
void cheli is bigger
but ghost is longer
I got that but between the juvenile ghost and the adult ghost
And also a zombie apparently
i'd say they are moulting
well, we don't observe them 24/7 and even if we did - why make creatures that are only here to keep u in borders so detailed?
zombies=wack
moulting shrimp=cool
Zombies can be a little bit wacky
Arent they just a rare type of chelicerate
that what pda says. but isn't it stupid? - a huge predator (who doesn't filter microorganisms like ghosts do) that lives in thermal areas just goes to cold empty void
also there are like 3 normal chelicerates and 3 void ones - 50/50, not rare
There could be a/several mutation(s) in their genes wich makes them able to somehow filter microorganisms and withstand abyssal environments
But yea they arent rare like at all
irl animals must physically have filter apparatus instead of just huge teeth for large prey
Fabricator caverns base
Unfinished Will be fully completed later
Extra:
That's creative right?
Nah
I use f6
you cannot see mostly things
Ok
also the shadow attacked after
but I killed him easily
Maybe next time using freecam will be better
to get better wiev
also not attacked by shadow leviathan
I think its an zombie too
Cuz theres always 3 of them
They respawn everytime
I think thats its a mutation with infection
that evolves Default Cheli to a zombie variation
Mutation makes the cheli stronger, bigger and Infected
Also the Void cheli Eats microorganisms
Not good creatures to eat on void
Or the mutation makes them Satiated forever
They just eat whatever wanders off into depths. Including you.
Most often you.
Theres nothing really wanders into deep
They mostly eat microorganisms
huge zombies haunting void for eternity can't exist. you can't eat micro organisms without specialised mouth because u simply can't catch enough to sustain yourself. because thermodynamics law or whatever.
let's stop flooding base channel
That may be the legal max, but, you can go up to 179 (with unreleased extended fov mod)
Iâm curious what that would look like at mega fov
Either way is amazing
Maybe that is how the ghosts see the world
Beautiful!
How did you manage to install a moonpool on land? Last I checked, theyâre only buildable in water.
I got around it with the small âlakeâ in Glacial Basin.
Maybe because it's attached to a room
Iâm pretty sure I couldnât build a moonpool anywhere above water, regardless of the baseâs other rooms or available space.
Iâll have to check that out again.
Caught in 4k
But in base Subnautica u can right? At least I'm pretty sure I did once, non modded
snow babies transported to base in vanilla bz. (they are stuck, they'd probably swim back to glacial basin)
You used to! I actually confirmed it myself yesterday that as of the 2.0 update we can no longer build moonpools above the water.
I'm really annoyed about it because I loved building on the mountain island beach, which isn't nearly as appealing anymore.
my main save still has a moonpool above the water on the mountain island, havent seen if it works but ill find out. also i noticed they patched the moonpool dupe too, now i have to actually go out get more salvage lol.
Monopol dupe?
yeah it was a dupe for base parts but you cant do it anymore
What about the Markiplier turning quartz into titanium?
Without context this sounds like markiplier is jesus
Basically, except more like turning wine into water (which would probably be done somewhat easily)
Basically just heat it up and boil away the alcohol.
Ye
kitchen.
Iâll have a large espresso please
Mods obv. There is one that disables build restrictions. The moonpool works, picks the prawn as it should.
I use the override scarcely for thinks that "should" work realistically, like this moonpool, or attaching foundations to ground.
Cool
Lol I'm back on subnautica now bc no joke I just deleted my 100% save on this game I love
Lowkey mad so I need a nice game to calm me down and focus on
And by this game I mean some other irrelevant gamr
Game*
How tf do you 100% subnautica?
There isnt any real definitive completion status other than beating the game
Like saying you can 100% minecraft.
my guess would be getting all blueprints and PDA logs
Theres never a way to know you have them all unless you cross reference a wiki
Its the only thing I can think of
define it as having mined every non renevable resource and you can sleep peacefully, knowing its not achievable
Who hasn't had a base in the tree cove?
Me :D build bases for practical use
yeah
there is no practical reason to have more than one base in subnautica
bcs of cyclops
Charging Cyclops and upgrade station?
There is some
First of all, if you have a base in every biome youre basically gauranteed to have a place you can use every ~500m or less
Second of all, some of the bases could be really useful stations used for mining resources (like an LZ base or an LR base), scanning stuff, as hubs, etc
Third of all, you can make your bases as big as you want, as much as you want
(Unlike cyclops wich cost alot to fabricate and you cant be in more than 2 at once)
Theres some of the practical reasons i can think of to have more than 1 base but idk there could be more
Bro I never said that
I did that for an entirely separate game
Read
I'm annoyed that all that work for that game is lost so now im back here to play something different
Its simple
If I had to guess I have currently 80% subnautica done the main story and built alot of bases cba to get every single thing
The game I lost I'm gonna restart it none of you would know it
I thought you meant subnautica by âthis game I loveâ
I lost my 100% save on lego starwars TCS. Grinded to hell for it.
Why not backing up the saves? I keep mine in SVN repo, so I can even revert last couple changes if something got f* up.
Just want to know, there's no problem in making a floating base ? đ
No...?
Probably with titanium.
Thereâs a lot of resources in the Lost River and Tree Cove (I assume thatâs what you meant), and you can bring down more, as well as seeds and stuff with your cyclops if you want to make a huge base.
If I remember, thereâs pretty much everything you need for a base down there, thereâs even Acid Mushrooms and Table Coral.
Diamonds might be a little scarce, but I doubt you need a ton of those.
Man your profile picture has me thinking the skies belong to me or sum
and that there's nowhere to run or hide
A creative mode project ive been working on. Basically the idea is that, at some point after ryley left the planet, it was turned into a tourist attraction. This is the first of multiple resort locations im going to build around the map. Being on the surface, its the first one you go you when you arrive on the planet.
The cyclops images are of a âsea busâ which is essentially a cyclops outfitted to carry people between the different locations around the map.
Sick
Planning on doing sea treaders, grand reef, mushroom zone, grassy plateau, and cove tree too.
I am so unhappy that the hole in the floating island is slightly too small to surface a Cyclops in. I wanted to build a base in that hole, above water, and then roof over it with foundation pads, then fill the pads in with grow beds, camo with trees and bushes...
Thats actually a sick idea. Maybe you could do it in the little cove on the side?
You could, or have the Cyclops just beneath the surface... but I wanted to use the island itself as a moon pool.
I did manage something kind of cool by way of a Cyclops dock base tho...
Wdym I built like anything else in the game lol
Yo guys kinda weird thing just happened
So I'm just swimming around the sea treaders path farming some lithium as usual and I swim up to my parked seamoth which is at about 100m deep.
||and I just see the sea emperor leviathan from the main story of the game lol why is she there it was so strange to see I've taken a few screenshots if u need proof||
it was massive
||have you already hatched the baby emperors||?
that's one of them
||oh wow cool is that them all grown up then||
Ye
All 5 of them can be found in different spots throughout the map
1: Crag Field
2: Dunes
3: Grand Reef (Definitely the one you found.)
4: Mountains
5: Northern Bloodkelp
not me launching the same time capsule over and over again
use screenshot ability, not a phone
would if I knew how to do that
F12 if you're on Steam
or if you have a Windows computer you can also use Printscreen, although the other way is easier to take quick screenshots (you just have to know where to find them)
Preciate it
It's on Xbox I know go ahead feel bad for me I'm experiencing all the performances that you can imagine but it's not bad could be worse
do you need to scan leviathan to search them with scanner room ?
No you don't
Xbox app on your phone, you can sync photos from your Xbox to it.
thanks gonna try and find the other 4
I'll screenshot all 5 of them and put them in a base
Like an observation base
OMG that's so cool
<@&85343211593166848> can people show bases with mods here?
Yeah it's fine. It's not for a competition or whatever. Others have done it before too đ
This looks so good bruh
How do you get them in there?
Apparently you can put the blood kelp zone style of white kelp in a plant bed to farm but idk how you would do that
I've stabbed them with my knife and I'm getting nothing
the red capsule is the seed
Step 1: Find the fishy patrol area.
Step 2: Build a box with one wall open while said fishy ties to eat you.
Step 3: Stand in the opening to lure the fishy. The bait is you
Step 4: Quickly barricade the entrance with corridor module
Step 5 [optional]: Unleash a barrage of poison rockets on the prisoner.
thanks
Very epic! I love the purple and black exterior! Those are two colors that mix surprisingly well!
2 of my favorite color :D
Can the box be bigger then yours and does fishy every escape?
can be bigger. the collision box of shadow centipede is around 3 corridors wide and 3 corridors tall. As long as bars have max 2 corridors free space between them, it cannot go through. I did not have any of them escape yet. Except the void fishies, they despawn when you get far
ok ty
Sick
Thatâs probably worse than losing a subnautoca hardcore
ye
They donât attack bases?
Nothing can break a base
Except you and stuff shot from a prop cannon
They attack bases if you're inside and close enough
we can color the base...?
Mods were used :3
ok i thought i known really nothing about the game đ
I just like mods
in below zero you can by using control room
But not the inside except with mods
wait how'd you make the roof white? control room?
mods my lad
damn the blue roof is the one thing i hate about the large room :(
i mean its nothin big
Because that skull is đĽ
far from finish but here 1 room i made with also the outside (Modded Creative Subnautica)
the green lockers look...interesting
same base it massive (REMEMBER) I am in Creative
Oh wow! I like that glow!
Bro thatâs insane ngl
it look cool tbh :P
sure
Oh my god, what are those shaders?
where should i go to find prawn drill arm ? i've already go to underwater islands (safe is possible)
Grand reef
there's a wreck ?
ok thx
My own
oh srry didn't saw i was in #đ awesome-bases
I wish i had that in a normal survival world
Initiate the grindâŚ
i am not even close to have finish
would this kind of base work?|| I am new to subnautica and i thought the shadow leviathan was cool and wanted a base where i can see the leviathan but I came to realize that the leviathan might attack me or something so- ||
||Iâd go into creative to do that lmao||
Also itâs quite deep down so first your gonna have to get there
ive already been here and now i just wanted to make a huge base that i want
Yeah Iâd go in creative
Nothing can damage you or your vehicles
Not sure , Iâm kinda new as well, never played below zero on the first subnautica . Had no idea that weird lizard existed till now lol
Have to ask some whoâs played below zero
Sorry I couldnât be more helpful
its fine ty
Glass domes?
Soooo... I've been building a massive Subnautica base in survival, but have had to make bases that were basically temporary scanner rooms to get enough materials. I have indeed had a reaper damage my base! However, it wasn't going after my base, but a PRAWN hiding in the supports. It seems like bases themselves don't aggro leviathans.
(My main base is in the Lost River where there's a juvi ghost, and it has yet to damage my base or attack it.)
oh ok tysm!
Gladly! Just keep in mind that damage to your base will be inside, which means that if you've built lockers, beds, and other things, you might have to remove them to find the damage. Bulkhead doors are your friend in trying to pinpoint damage, ESPECIALLY if your base is big.
I wouldn't xD
BZ has control room, which displays damage with spots on mini map.
Niiiice, wish that was in PS4 Subnautica. đ
Any growbeds or aquariums?
I want to do a cool base but i have problems with the freaking Titanium
I need much Titanium bruh
my base in progress
Nice!
i will show the interior of the base
first zone
science zone
office room
bedroom
prawn and seamoth room
and the last one
but not the worst
bio zone
Can u pls tell me what mod ur using for that?
for the color base ?
i think it call truebasecolorizer
K Iâll look into it thx
i created more zones for my base but dont worry, my base it just 10% done.
im on survival
i never understood why people would make large bases
how do you occupy all that space to prevent it from being a complete waste
we do large bases because we can have much items much food much water in second
seconds*
anyways look at this lol
Lol
||help i need ideas for my base||
i use foundations and place objects like boxes on them to decorate. makes it look like some busy area.
idk, build a greenhouse.
ok
make a research station
ok
u have no large rooms and all multipurpose rooms are one story tall. don't u want to try them? they diversifies the look of the base, u don't like em?
also. floodlights, glowsticks and projectors look quite cool even tho they don't have much practical use
i dont like much large room well i can do a cafeteria.... thanks for the idea!
but im with neptune
use large rooms to make multiple small rooms instead of making alot of multi purposes that will be empty, use the walls
ok
placeable walls
u could also try to make a floating base, with the new update ur base doesnt need to necessarily be underwater
im making neptune but i dont have sulphur bruh sorry but i gonna do that later
hol up, something is wrong here(below zero version)
Weird, double beacons?
i think the wall is just different color
thats strange
pretty sure we're meant to notice the floating desk toy
Nah, parts of it already defy gravity.
Define "much".
My current project needs around 4000 titanium pieces.
Much = less than Tomtores is using.
I like to build as if im actually making a real functional structure and lay it out accordingly. For example, separating living spaces, work spaces, infrastructure, etc. My current base consists of a large room which connects to a greenhouse containing plants for food and resources, a living space area with a comfy bed and stuff, a power area which contains the nuke reactor, bioreactor, and a small lantern tree farm for fuel, a vehicle bay section with the two moonpools, a research area with aquariums and a scanner room, and a storage room with tons of lockers.
Same here. I also have bathroom in my BZ bases.
same ye
U NEED one
Idk why it ainât in the base game
I was really hoping that the 2.0 update would add more than just large rooms and glass roofs. Wheres the jukebox, control room, and bathroom furniture at?
Ye lol
same it hard to decorate in subnautica without mod tbh
i will do a cafeteria in my base
my~~ PC~~ laptop is trash
a laptop is a form of pc
Dude, these images have better FPS than my computer.
Also, what do your three Seatrucks have? Are they outfitted differently?
It's so nice to see that the subnautica community is still going strong
always been such a goated game
Always have been, always will be!
Fr
Guys
Are mods playing games other than subnautica đą
Jk I rlly donât care
Pc is personal computer, so ur calculator is a PC
Only if itâs a personal calculator.
If itâs a communal, shared calculator, itâs not.
Thanks lmao. How much reinforcement does it require?
Its also a personal calculator
Pda is Personal digital assistant
Bz pda is nice
I know it doesn't have much but here's my home
Super nice
@full ether That is a very nice home.
wow i have never seen such a nice cyclops
varies with depth. I think 7 plates for the single occupant box.
ty :D ill try this some time soon
bring prawn for air, medkits for occasional romps. start by building foundation, so you can hide underneath, then build corridors once ugly guy is out of earshot. takes some time.
FYI, you can build from inside corridors.
How big should I make it
Iâve been playing the original Doom lately and i keep thinking âitâs spelled medikitsâ
My base containing every flora and fauna :D
Depends on inhabitant. For centipedes, 5x7 modules works fine, 4 corridors tall
goals
Thats a lot nicer than mine
some screenshots of my subnautica base
Rly cool having the jacksepticeye thing back
is that creative or survival? cause I see you have Tiger Plants and the last time I put those next to my base (in survival) they started attacking my Cyclops lol
I also put them in an alien containment once and they murdered everything in there and flooded my base so yeah...
I always avoid them when making a garden of almost every flora đ
tiger plants are in a ACU lol
I guess they're fine if there's no creatures in with them
but as soon as you add critters they go berserk and punch a bunch of holes in the containment
it ain't pretty xD
This has been changed in the Living Large Update. They will no longer attack fish and the player in the Alien Containment Tanks.
science
really? I did not know this, that's quite handy
Yes?
the greenest house
Couple more pics of my base. Still awaiting better feedback.
(One from high up, and the other from underwater)
Very nice!
pretty damn cool
i need to start building on land bruh it looks so nice
Noice, can u build a path around the auora?
his game will prolly die of lags hahaha
Yeah prob
Are u Hungarian btw?
Ur name has 2 Hungarian words
no i'm not haha
does it? XD
Your name: but - thousand
Just started my base by the sea treader path
You have some nice friendly neighbors there.
this is my first base build! i think it's pretty neat :)

Outpost Aquaphobia is located on an island north-northwest of the Aurora crash site on planet 4546B, and built next to the Quarantine Enforcement Platform, a massive Architect weapon made to shoot down any incoming and outgoing craft while the planetary quarantine was in effect. The outpost features a cafe, clean nuclear power, fully furnished l...
I always like Cyclops mobile base
Until an angry fish decides to do a taste test
been working on a Crater Research Facility in Subnauica (part of my interconnected outposts and such)
still a w.i.p
Nice habitat!
what mods are this?
They're not mods.
That's just Below Zero
Oh yeah I forgot BZ has this, I wonder if you could port the Unity assets into Subnautica
It's been so nice having all of the BZ base assets in base game subnautica
Use them all the time
No where close to all of them
vanilla BZ. I have snap builder mod, but placement was without overrides.
I've still got to finish my lost river base that I'm working on
Done the captains quarter's and hangout room just need to do the moon pool and decorate the many empty corridors
Snap Builder just makes life so much easier.
I have been working on a base in the crater, only I keep running out of titanium.
I love having bases in cool environments. But Iâm afraid of the void so I could never build there.
Oh, what a cool location for a base! I remembed being so excited when I found that area, I was geeking out!
I feel ya. My cyclops has turned into a harvester. Lockers built throughout and carrying the mats to build a small base with a scanner room. The crash zone has tons and tons of scrap, but of course, risk.
so how do you obtain the barnacles? I'm still tryna wrap my head around this new way of decorating ahah
Those barnacles are from containment facility, I only remember finding them there.
The void has a bottom, and i made a base on it
I named it outpost sigma because anyone who builds a base in the bottom of the void is a sigma chad
Also very conveniently theres lots of resources near the edge of the void
I also nearly died while taking this photo
bz void has a bottom?
interesting
Its at about 2300m deep
It has partial bottom.
A shelf at 600m deep.
In some areas, a flat sand at 2400 deep. And in some spots there is no bottom.
In progress of reaching 8k deep to build a base. Lithium and titanium supply is hard.
I think I may have asked this before but how do you get the mark statue in xbox subnautica
Is it even in the game
Probably is I'm assuming it's from a life pod
Crag field lifepod iirc
I mean, I assume a base like this has been done many times before, but none that I can see. So I tried to make a fully functional base within a singular x-shaped compartment, I thought it was rather good, if you have any suggestions please tell them, Iâd love to fully optimise this build. (Power is gotten from solar panels, I was able to fit 10 in total)
wow, that's all i can say, wow.
That's a lot of med kit fabricators. And lots of coffee capacity.
med kit fabricators were just unused room, thought i should give it a use anyways
is there anyway to obtain any "unobtainable" flora is BZ?
Or is it just a bug in the norm sub

Mini Base at the Phi Robotics Landing Pad.
Very nice, however the bed isnt necessary :D
Removing it would allow more room for storage or another pot
Yeah, I've tried making other designs with another pot and standing lockers, thanks. Any other advice?
Not that i can see, looks quite efficient as is
Unfortunately in below zero you can steal flora with propulsion canons. I think I was able to move some tree on the land so maybe it could be useful to decorate a land base, those fruity flower things can be moved but their collision boxes are wacky, better just plant them. I havenât tried all flora but most of it canât be moved.
You can still move boxes and some other objects in bz (forklifts are movable btw), thereâs a lot of nice equipment-type stuff. Also you can steal baby stalkers but only with prawn propulsion arms, not regular canon.
I see now that you already know about nice equipment stuff))
yeah ahaha
nice, thanks for the tips
but im still confused on which fruity flowers and tree lol
Looked it up, antennae plant and blue scrub bush.
You can just yoink stuff?!
yep
Bro
its not stealing if no one catches you đ¤Ł
Cooper
Itâs called taking (if no one is looking), thatâs what skyrim teaches and thatâs why I canât finish my sn bases.
better finish those bases
ill come after you
just tried picking up the blue scrub bush with both normal prop cannon and prawn suit prop cannon, and both were ineffective
Same, I picked one tree but it didnât work with another one. Same with loot crates.
that happens among alot of loot crates i pick up
in fact one is spinning in the air right now
(among)
Sus fr
soz for bad qual
Its ok
i wonder why the hitboxes and the gravity of things just changes in a split second
maybe not hit boxes
but it seems like most of the supply crates are moveable until you interact with them using the propulsion cannon
which trees did you pick up? i've tried every single one at delta station
I donât remember, was a couple months ago. Try outpost zero.
Maybe I lied and itâs a waste of time. The circle on the screen widens when prop canon can pic up the objects, I walked past one of the brushes and it widened so I thought âI should come for that tree laterâ but perhaps it got triggered by something else.
great work guys
Reworked the Bone Fields outpost
Looks great!
nice đ
Yeah i think you're right, i just tested all the bushes (even out of bounds) and didnt manage to move them
what 50 hours of just base building and mat collecting looks like
for those wondering it has 7 large rooms, 4 nuclear reactors, 6 water filters, 8 interior grow beds, 6 battery chargers, and 4 power cell chargers, with 2 moonpools
The fact most of those rooms are probably empty scares me
no its filled with fish and mass storage @wild vessel
i have lots of pets
the multi purpose rooms are mainly so that i can a ton of reinforced walls
Holy cow I love it!
thank you
finally starting the rocket grind
Bruh I survived with a base like this: 2 X pipes and squish these things in: fabricator, cell and battery charger, medkit, 2 small grow pots with melon and entrance, 2 multi purp rooms 1 for bioreactor and the other is spammed with creates, a moonpool and posters between the hallways
How do u even know where the stuff are do u have a map opened in microsoft paint? Also nice job
Not just nice
Amazing
X corridors are perfect for making a starter base
@errant quiver the 4 large rooms are the main crafting storage and food production, the multipurpose rooms exist to suffer and are there for reinforced walls as large rooms hate structral integrity, and i ive got corridors connecting everything, its really just one big circle
Ahhhh
I see
Image accidentally bonking into ur base with ur prawn so it gets damaged
And u need to look for that ONE crack filling the whole base
the other 4 large rooms are alien containments and mass storage
oh dont worry ive got like 70 or 80 percent inegrity
ive also got a ton of bulk heads
No i mean there is a feature that if u punch ur base with a prawn or run into it it gets damaged
I found it out the hard way doing parkour with my prawn
oh yeah im really careful and you cant tell from the photo but ive got a large section where i can land my prawn
and i have a docking mod for the cyclops that puts me into auto pilot when i get near it
jump jet and grapple prawn really dosnt have a hard time with the base
food production in my main base
You should add different rooms for different plants
Like 1 room for marble melons, 1 room for lantern trees, etc
And you can have 1 acu in the middle
I might try that if my pc can handle it, my base already takes up a large portion of the grassy plateaus
lantern trees?
I understand marblemelon farm this big, because they chunky bois, but lantern fruit?
Ehh is what I could find at the time
They work nice for a nightlight, and not much else imo
anyone has a base on the habitat platform mod?
I have made the best transport
Did you know prawn can go triple the speed of a sea moth with a well placed grapple
thats the exact same as mine đ¤Ł
And Solar charger? What do you use that for?
I donât find myself going on Seamoth trips long enough to have to recharge.
Same here, moonpool docking handles charging just fine.
And if u jump the moment u reach the hook and stop holding it u go flying into thst direction
Unless i use the cyclops to move bases, it is the most useless vehicle; only use the prawn in deeper biomes and the seamoth is the one i use the most so the solar charger is very useful
The cyclops is amazing, Iâd take it over the Seatruck any day, but it also it invisible to all attacks when turned off, and craft object anywhere (so you can set up a base whenever you want) and is actually quite maneuverable unless youâre using it somewhere like Blood Kelp Trench. Not being able to be warped out of your vehicle is great, not to mention having your prawn/seamoth be complete safe when itâs docked. (Theyâll still get attacked by some creatures even when youâre not in it unless itâs cyclops or moonpool-docked.
Can't convince me
Ik
I am torn between cyclops and seatruck in which i prefer, but i am upset that seatruck replaced seamoth
I dont think seatruck was very successful as a small, agile transport, but it worked pretty well as a mobile base
You know what, scratch that. I prefer seatruck to cyclops as a mobile base.
The Seatruck is smaller and can actually strafe.
Well, seamoth is smaller than seatruck and can strafe too
Strafing is nice, but it wasnât really necessary on Subnauticaâs larger map, and you could always avoid leviathans with creature decoys, silent running, powering off the engine to prevent them from getting aggroed, ect. As an alternative to side stepping with the Seatruck.
Also if weâre continuing this convo, it should probably be in #below-zero-chat (because of Seatruck).
With seatruck, you can elec-zap them then run away.
That looks really good, I love it
not rlly... it would honestly just be better to use a chassis upgrade or if ur REALLY into having a lot of power, an engine efficiency
is that the Northern Zone or the trench? can't tell cause both look equally dark at night, but either way both are some of my favourite biomes for bases
It still helps
No but i combine them
I have a creative world file on my xbox
Its laggy bc i built like 7 bases
I will show them here after im home
There is 1 in the dunes its random tunes and random stuff
I called it art glass base
Reaper watcher at auora
Bloodkelp lifepod researcher
Kelp forest tourism base
And a seamoth for every single base
Its REALLY laggy
I think everyoneâs in agreement that the Diamond Reinforced Hull upgrade is by far the worst.
I would say not, but Iâd take a locker over either any day.
But yeah, Iâd say efficiency is second worst, in front of diamond reinforced hull.
Bro both are useless tbh, just use a moon pool
Well if u suck at piloting it would save ur seamoth a lot, especially in pretty dangerous zones where u canât just repair whenever u want
Itâs way worse than Solar Charger though, almost anywhere is safe enough to get out for a few seconds.
Seamoth repairs at 5HP/sec with repair tool, so you barely have to get out at all.
Also, keep in mind, it does not protect against creature damage. It only prevents collision damage, and only by 50% decrease per modules.
If youâre taking serious damage by constantly running into walls, and youâre in a zone thats too dangerous to get out and repair, the hostile fauna will most likely finish the job anyway.
$45,000 rent in LA
Battery or something?
Honestly, if youâre going out for 30 min trips, youâre missing out on resource because of full inventory (also you have to bring more food/water). It doesnât make your seamoth more tanky. Also, youâre missing out on the fact that 1 storage module can hold 16 power cells if you really need that power (for whatever reason).
Let me guess top left is a nuclear reactor room
Looks like the mod is some kind of battery (my best guess), and thereâs a power line going off the pic, probably for thermal.
actually its a mod what let u have currency
Nuclear generates fast enough that I doubt youâd need a battery, it also stores a ton of power
Ok, understood.
Littearly surviving on an alien plant and still workinng for Alterra
But funi
Satisfactory moment.
True, Iâd expect a realistic base to be a little more developed.
My base has 0.5 integrity
Works the same as 30.
Bruh u can use the seamoth for like hours⌠do u like never turn the lights off lmao
And u wonât even use that much power in the first placeâŚ
Unless u constantly keep the lights on
My point is, you have plenty of space for extra power if you need it, (youâll definitely not use all 16 slots for that, Iâm just saying you can). You get more storage space for equipment, resources, food/water/medkits, ect.
If youâre going on a very, very long trip, I can see the appeal, but at that point, youâre either carrying a ton of food/water, or thermoblading bulbbushes and fish.
Perimeter defense doesnât even use that much power compared to how much you use it.
If you having to use it a lot, either youâre hanging around in a dangerous area that you shouldnât be in, or you have a death wish.
Nope, you need around 10 integrity, in case you have to disassemble reinforcement piece or start building a corridor. Leaks are hard to fix in large bases.
Ok but if i have 0.5 nonstop im fine
I built my base
And built some walls into the large room
Boom 0.5 integrity
Im good
0 lithiums used for reinforcement
Hi
If you do not expect any further development, its fine, but with 0.5 you may get leaks the moment you want to change partition walls layout to fit more lockers.
Some people forget that u cant only put glass lockers next to walls
I have lockers stacked like a library
One step before this?
How do u access the ones in the corner
you just dont
Exactly
lol its not im not finished yet but done most of the layout
The left row is full of copper, middle is silver, right one is gold. When a locker is full, I just build new one in front of it. When witdrawing items, just disasemble empty lockers.
that seems tedious
UhâŚ. They actually doâŚ
Try keeping ur seamoth with its light on ok, and then ditch it and do other stuff
When u come back the battery is lower
They do tho
Every single time I leave my seamoth at a wreck, and go explore it, the charge is always lower
Bro the cyclops lights are useless, they prolly just said that they wonât drain the power
Like if I leave it at 89 percent, itâll be 85 by the time Iâm back
The external ones are
Huh⌠weird⌠prolly a glitch
U literally use the cameras for it, thereâs no point in the external ones outside the subnautica
One of three I made last night
I should have taken a picture of the view inside the observatory. This spot is one of my favorite places in the game.
I just got an idea about building massive bases all over a world, maybe storywise make it be a situation that people have started living all around 4546b.
And also i thought of building a gallery of small yet good bases
You should check out Div's Atlantis in the pins
I thought it wouldve been the insanely big one, but still very impressive.
Not sure what you mean? His base is massive.
Oh i looked at the wrong one. Man i feel dumb rn.
Built quick examples of 3 one segment bases. X, T and I sections. Fitted each with storage, a fabricator, radio, 2 medkit fabricators, 1 or 2 composite plant pots, a hatch, a mod station and at least 2 accessable windows exchangable for hatches.
Where is it? Iâd love to build there. Do you have coords?
NW of the wreck in the NE grassy plateaus. I don't have coords on me atm
This is in the crash zone, starboard side.
I'll do a live tour here soon
If you wanna join ofc
@lime lake I'm live rn if you wanna join
a few more updates on my base
that base is awesome
Yea his is I'm just showing I got 500 meters in my scanner room
Hi
awsome base
No I didn't mine is so tiny
My entire base could fit in that one room
cat poster my beloved
yup
i have multiple rooms you know
Yea
rate the base
8
Decent yeah
Beginner/10
7/10 has the basic need but needs to look nicer
That base is awesome
how is it beginner?
I have 2 moonpools
and a cyclops
energy room
main room
moonpool 1
moonpool 2
water filter
Second photo is right by my base
Woah I love your organic swimming base!
So cool
