My concept for what a squid shark would look like if it evolved in the crater rather then sector zero

It would be a part of an outgroup for the sea dragon family

It would live in the grand reef and feed on crabsquids

Those blue tendrils on its underside would be a defence mechanism against ghost leviathans and other members of its species

Oddly enough they seem to be immune to the kharaa

They would be almost half the size of a reaper and much faster

Unlike the below zero version
These ones are actually docile towards the player unless provoked and are extremely curious

This suggests that they are extremely intelligent

Temperament: Low aggression unless defending its young
Diet: carnivore (hunter and scavenger)
Length: 72 meters (male) 98 meters (female)
Notes: this species shows a high level of problem solving and will use hard rocks to sharpen the horn on the top of the head
This species is the only member of its family that cannot fly as an adult but can shoot out of the water and glide as hatchlings and juveniles
The typically live at 500-700 meters in depth but will surface to breath every two hours

Both males and females will protect young and mate for life

They appear to be capable of empathy and will often protect humans who they trust
This shows it to be one of the most intelligent species on the planet

It should be noted that this species has a trait found in plants

The wings have a bright green colouration due to the presence of chloroplasts in the cells that form the membranes

New creature: Tarytrap (TRYPOPHOBIA WARNING)
It buries itself in the sand upside down and sticks out its legs, these legs resemble finger trees (tree type living on this planet) so the prey usually don't notice it's a trap, when the prey enters, it uses its legs to catch it and starts eating it alive (just like praying mantises do), the holes in its body are used to collect rainwater, the water is absorbed and if there is any excess, it goes to the tail where its supply is stored

I agree, but I will say that I feel like 3D gave me a better understanding of textural qualities of objects.
I haven't painted or drawn in several years now, I fell in love with 3D way too hard. I approached it like a study and taught myself every aspect of it.

Yeah once im working again, im hoping to basically use my 3d to build still lifes but with layers to create study materials on lighting and materials. Like render the ao and then paint it same for reflections etc. then hopefully when i go back to painting purely in 2d ill have some better workflows for that

atm I just paint in a way that i know works right now till my whole portfolio is at the same level

but being able to change the roughness or metalness on a simple slider is awesome

It can do that electric shock wave thing the squidshark can do, even has the mouth of the squid shark (making a separate box to show the open mouth). The body/tail is the shadow leviathan, giving it that speed and ambush perk, and the limbs are the sea emperor, giving it the ability to reach in locations players try to hide in unless space is too small for it to reach into. It also has a hidden feature, the long strands act as jellyfish tentacles

Jellyfish tentacles: Touch those and you're paralyzed

Thicker base connected to jellyfish tentacles: Electric shock wave - Get hit by it outside of vehicle and you're stunned (blacked out basically). Inside vehicle just temporarily takes away vehicle power for 20 seconds, nothing new

mouth: Range and very sharp teeth - Pulls you in (can fight back and get away)

Front limbs: Extra speed, range, and attack

Native to the crag fields

Can also ram your cyclops and crush the glass parts of the seamoth and prawn

Possibly the only thing to benefit from ||kharaa|| as its immune but its predators were not

Dna analysis shows that this species isnt native and not related to any life on 4546B
It appears that the ||precursors|| took a detour to earth and found an extremely resilient species of shark and brought it over to 4546B for an unknown reason after heavy genetic modification and a containment breach, a shoal of fish including direct ancestors of the claw shark escaped to deeper regions of the crater edge where they grew dramatically and became solitary

It is a crystal mushroom lush cave with a cursed relic called the quartz skull of emophet and the reason why it’s cursed is because if a creature or individual touches it they will start having crystals growing out of them and is extremely painful and will leave whoever or whatever touched it terminated

Hey king, so i hate to be the one to point this out and ask about it, but a lot of your art has the same watermark in it that does not match with your account. Obviously artists are free to use any watermarks they want and they dont have to match, but i came across an account with most of the art you’ve posted on it and the watermark DOES match that account, along with them having an official shop set up under the same name, selling said pieces. I was wondering if your discord just doesnt match the other socials you use to post your art or if this person is stealing it?

Crusher's discord name is just different than his "studio" name. This has come up, like, twice already. He would have to be a wizard of theft to get all of the suggestions from this chat into drawings, WiPs and what not if it wasn't him and that just isn't feasible.

I see. I did say that it was very possible the watermark just doesn’t match his account, or that he uses different names on different socials besides his discord. There are so many mentions of Crusher in this chat, given he is most of whats pinned in this chat, that it would be difficult to search specifically for people that i didnt even know existed asking the same question i had. All I was really looking for was confirmation from him that he does use a different name and that he is selling his artwork.
