Just because it's a Tadpole Chassis doesn't mean it won't feel like a seperate vehicle.

Here's a bit of an explanation from Anthony, but the plan is for all Tadpole chassis to essentially alter the feel of the vehicle and how you approach piloting it. Basically every chassis is its own vehicle in a way, it's just they all share the same cockpit.

Like, we've seen a chassis that's a mech suit. That'll obviously feel completely different to the base Tadpole. So each chassis is planned to feel different.

Besides, this is far cheaper and far more intuitive than having to craft a whole entire seperate vehicle for each purpose. Thanks to chassis you can change up your Tadpoles purpose as easily as disconnecting one chassis and plugging in the other, without even getting out of the vehicle.

It's been cofnrimed the game will have one eventually, but it's not a major focus as of right now.

Some details we've heard from Anthony in relation to his ideal intent for the Big Sub includes:

• Possibly use a modular design, but one far better than the Seatruck

• Only one of them per save file, and it can't be destroyed but needs repairs

• Won't be multiplayer focused, but other players will still have things to do

• We won't build it ourselves, rather we'll be able to find one and fix it up

• We will be able to build inside of it, just like we could in the Cyclops

• It will be able to hold Tadpoles, just like the Cyclops could hold smaller vehicles.

Because you don't have to leave the vehicle to change it, all modules (depth upgrades, hull reinforcement, energy upgrades, etc) are all part of the one vehicle, etc.
