Hey, we all start somewhere and it's the journey of inching one bad drawing at a time to something better than the last attempt we made. I was stuck in jury duty and i was just practicing the fundamentals; lines, squiggles, circles, ovals, squares, shapes and crosshatching to just get my hand steady for painting later. Whenever I see a great piece of work well beyond my ability, i just remind myself if i practice long enough, I can get there too someday.

I usually start off with screenshots off the wiki and then i usually do a block out with just the normal cube and give it a a few subdivisions and do a rough block out and then make that into a sculpt or I take a circle and apply a subdivision modifier and apply it so I can make a sculpt out of that

Then after that I take it into substance and make custom textures there and then sometimes take them back into blender to adjust things like transparency or emissions
