Stalkers don't generate metal salvage, but they move it around. Basically each stalker has a 'nest' where it brings metal salvage it finds. If two stalkers find each other's nests, they can end up moving same metal salvages over and over again...

The problem with serializing that state is that the player prefab is a children of the Prawn Suit prefab, and it will be very annoying to fix that.

Make a backup of your save first then. Then you can either try a warpforward 50 with the risk of dying from fall damage or you can save and see how it goes. And in the worst case you'll have your backup from 7 hours ago.

so now you can try save&quit (if you got backup). If still stuck , you can either play again from the last backup, or there is one other options to reset story progress which will auto spawn you in your life pod with empty inventory, but all the items in all lockers on all vehicles will remain untouched 🙂

locationwise they are also good, youre still close to centre map so you can get around good, and rescourses are also available in abundance, just watch out for those tiger plants and try to build youre base not against the ground, like a couple meters up from it

Repulsion can somewhat deter Leviathans for a short time, but is very much effective against small and medium sized predators. Just to make sure I don't sound like it, I never kill anything that isn't meant to be killed. I do use the Stasis Rifle and other stuff, but not to abuse them like some people do.

i got a base over here, made it as a reaper observatory base, and i spotted a time-capsule close to my base with a camera once, went to get it while the reaper was far, but then i hear it behind me, i got just beneath the beams of my base, and i realised i made a safe area if im under my basepieces lol

I don't use the much either lmao. But I am playing it realistically and coming prepared. I've built my cyclops in such a way that its a beautiful mobile base from which I can explore with various loadouts.

You can also do this without materials since the blue stuff has valid hitboxes. Probably some of the most broken stuff if you think about the possibilities.

6/10. It's okay but not big enough to say much about. Personally I'd build the scanner room so I can send out the camera drones more easily, like next to the cliff.
Mostly you just don't have anything like farms, moonpools, solar panels, thermal plants, etc. Seems a bit lackluster. Will you add more later on?

well its not meant as a permanent base, its got farms inside with trees to eat so i dont gotta worry about foor, its got some bioreactors inside to, but its mainly meant as a nice base to look onto the reaper

So more of a checkpoint? I build those too, but they're far smaller. Literally just two multipurpose rooms (stacked), an aquarium (+hatch and ladder) in the bottom one and a bioreactor above. The aquarium has oculus to use as biofuel and there are two lantern trees above in small pots for backup. There is also a Moonpool with power cell chargers, battery charges and a fabricator, as well as all the needed reinforcements and a second hatch.

This is my exact build for the checkpoint I made in the Blood Kelp Trench.

I build too many and my bases are all audacious (my Lost River base is in the Blood Kelp and is a vertical ladder from 613 m deep to 6 m deep with most stuff at surface where I doc my cyclops). All my bases are solar on top of the moonpool at 6 m deep so tons of power.

So I just use cyclops for storage and I build mini outposts all over Lost River (9 so far) that I don’t count as bases because it is just a multiroom and scanner with bioreactor or thermal.

My play time is so long because I need about 100-150 titanium per base and 10-20 lithium
