Hello everyone!

I'm very early in the game and was trying to build a kind of "floating" base in the water.
So I'd like to use the standard Base elements but without the support beams reaching down to the ground.

I already found out that you can just place a foundation underneath and then place/deconstruct different elements in a certain order to remove the support beams, but of course that doesn't work anywhere.

Are there any known tricks or "bugs/glitches" to achieve this?

If you don't want the legs, you have to build higher.

For instance you can start from a cliff, place a corridor, and then expand it towards the void, remove the corridor then.

Or just place base parts, go higher in your layout until you don't see the legs, then remove the parts that have it.

The base grid expands from the first element, even if it's deconstructed.

I mean void is it's own story. It is designed to keep you away from it other leviathans are not as aggressive.
The worst thing that could happen to cyclops is a guy in the very end. I don't want to spoil too much but if you have lockers inside his attacks might just banish them from existence.
