Oh also bring a cyclops your first run through. you can use it to craft a thermal energy module when you're down there. this will fix the power issues you're sure to have. so cyclops, prawn with drill arm, and reinforced dive suit. then you're probably ok @broken turtle .

your cyclops is almost indestructible. if you stay low in the prawn, the large creatures down there should ignore you.

This game really is telling me to just not use any ship. They all have issues (for me). Seamoth has depth limits, Cyclops is slow + too frustrating to navigate, and prawn gets stuck easily.

I haven't had these problems so much. Depth modules are a lifesaver for one. Piloting the Cyclops requires some planning. And the Prawn Suit can get stuck but seems to get free more easily in my experience. Have you tried using the jump jet upgrade for prawn suit? (If you have access to it)

I just realized,

||if paul torgal had not ordered the detour, kharaa wouldn't have spread to human colonies. Because the degasi crashed there, alterra sent the Aurora to look for it. Sure they would've probably built the phasegate in both scenarios but they wouldn't have any reason to go that close to 4546B. Hence, they would've never crashed and ryley wouldn't get stranded. The QEP would stay active and alterra would never get their hands on kharaa to experiment with it||
