Hey @uneven crest , I'm a fan of subnautica and a fan of the Playstation Vita (discontinued and abandoned console by sony). I make homebrew and port games to the vita for fun in my spare time, I'm interested in porting a few of the prototype builds of subnautica 1 to the vita to help preserve the games history.

I will not be gaining any money from this in any way, shape, or form, I will not release the source code (obviously), and I will not be spreading the games assets, what i will be spreading will be an empty loader/wrapper where the player must buy and download subnautica from steam and use the official files from steam with an xdelta patch that will then convert the steam files to PSVita files. This will result in more people purchasing subnautica in order to play the prototypes on the vita. The subnautica devs will only gain free advertisements and more steam purchases from the prototype ports.

I'm not asking for help or to be officially sponsored, I just want to make sure no one at the subnautica team will get upset and try to sue me over this, again I am not gaining any form of financial support from this and no subnautica assets or code will be released/spread around, the only way to play the prototype builds on the vita will be by owning the full game on steam.

To the left of where it says crash zone, there should be a place where two kelp zones, a grassy plains and the safe shallows connect
Build on the edge of the grassy plains between the two kelp forests and there's a jelly shroom cave like ten feet away
