You know, the mountain section really bugs me from a gameplay perspective
||You're sent there by the rescue ship.
Poking around, you find a purple tablet fragment. The fact that it gives you a blueprint, implies that you are supposed to come back later when you have created the tablet.
However, if you walk literally five feet up the ramp, you find an intact tablet.
If you go in the cave, you find a portal, which you need an ion cube to power.
If you find the tablet, there are several in the building.
It's as if the devs had intended you to come here, see the crash, learn about the tablets, and come back later.
But it seems like at some point the devs just gave you the keys||

So it's like what was the point in even giving me a blueprint||

okay so, you have to 2 options. Ditch the cyclops and take something else, or, just wait until the ghost leviathan is as far as possible from your desired path and book it past it and do any repairs you may need to do afterwards. There isnt much risk of your cyclops getting destroyed. But it will probably take some damage. If you want to be extra safe. Just save before and you can load the save if things go wrong

in any other vehicle, I simply just glide right past em lol. But the cyclops is too big and slow

Read the wiki and built many of them. I don’t ever see lines coming from them and I don’t see the purpose.

If it helps, the only “purpose” I can think to use them is to do floodlight lighting.

Hmm - that might be it. I don’t have access to thermal yet. Only solar and I like putting my bases at say 5 meter down and 10-30 Vertical to ocean floor base. So I just put solar on then moonpool/large room at surface level.

this was after simplily going from bulb zone to northern blood kelp and killing a reaper on the way

then i used sonar to find that tiny hole that leads to big lost river area from the part where it connects

No. The game spawns on average 47 capsules each. Just each platform has different save areas for capsules. So they are platform specific
