Tiger plants can cause bases to flood, and I think some creatures can cause collision damage, also making the base flood. But nothing targets bases or deliberately attacks them.

It won't attack the base, but possibly the ranged attacks can cause floods in the base if they hot accidentally (for example trying to hit you)

No. That was in degasi jelly. It was a bug, I scanned but it didn’t give blueprint and wouldn’t scan again. I restarted the game, speed ran there and scanned so it should have worked. So I restarted and when I get there again I’ll try to make a save before so I can load if it bugs again but I’m thinking it’s an isolated bug and not reproducible

When you kill a warper, its spawner won't spawn a new one until you reload the spawner, meaning reloading the game or going away and then come back.

As Ignis said, the brine in ghost forest is shallow, so you can pick stuff from it without taking damage. But indeed prawn is immune to the brine damage. Other methods are propulsion cannon and grav trap.

Subnautica doesn't have much tight spaces, but for some reason, I decided it was a good idea to get a cave diving VR game. It's really fun though, terrifying, too.

I feel a bit silly rn, but I'm looking on Nexus and I can't seem to find a mod that deals with the game's insanely bad pop-in issues?

Is there anything that cranks up the draw distance to an insane degree? I tried modifying it in the files but it doesn't seem like it had any effect & I just want high quality views when I look out of my base lol

Luckily I've only gotten scared once in this game, when I accidentaly steped off the crater's edge with my prawn suit and felt that "jerk" feeling of being suddenly pulled under. Like when someone grabs your ankle when you're at the surface and starts dragging you down.

If you still get lost use one of those pathfinder tools

There's an entrance near the ||deep degasi base||, that's the easiest way in imo

If you've explored a significant amount of the ones you've found you should have a marker that'll lead you there

If you can't find the entrance there just set up a scanner room with max range in the same cavern as the aformentioned ||deep degasi base|| and that'll give you a topography map of the area
