Nothing can 1-shot you even without the reinforced diving suit. (Other than the seadragon I think). So if you were full health. It shouldn't have happened in the first place. But im guessing you werent. Regardless, its a tough scenario. I think it was theoretically possible to get out of but it would have almost been just as if not more inconvenient as just deconstructing and dying. so yeah. kinda sucks. Sorry it happened

also warpers do very large amounts of damage

they can do up to 79 damage with a teleport + slash combo

This has got me thinking about Thermal power Plants; I wonder if you could build an array of them near the active lava and with a many Power Transmitters, beam that energy all the way to a base on the surface 🤔.

You can do it theoretically. According to the Wiki, there's no limit to the number of Power Transmitters you can place and with zero reduction in power. Max 100 m between two transmitters; can travel through rock; the transmitters near the power source and receiving structure must be within 25 m respectively. Multiple sources (thermal plants) can power a single structure, but if you wanted to power multiple bases, you would need to run multiple lines of transmitters from sources far enough a part where the lines wouldn't interact with each other.

There is two reapers on the side you go in and one on the other. You would have to lure them to get more as far as I know.

The escape key is how I pause the game or you go in settings and make your pad pause every time you open it.

Try turning off the Steam Controller settings, there may be something wonky happening in there that's overriding your keyboard inputs to the game

Look subnautica a worked fine on April 3rd, then when I went to play on the 12th I couldn't move, but I got my keyboard to respond for a couple hours on the 13th but after I closed the game when I tried to play it again at 4 pm that day my keyboard didn't respond, then on the 14th I got it to work for an hour before getting uneasy about going to the aurora, but since then I haven't been able to get my keyboard to work. I've never modded the game and yes I can still use my mouse

Another thing I'm seeing is that some HP Laptops have a hardware fault where the lid-close sensor is too close to the heatsink, so it gets hot and disables the keyboard because the heat makes the sensor malfunction

Do you have your laptop on a solid surface like a desk or table? It might not be getting enough airflow if that's not the case

I'm not sure, it's a suggestion, also are you sure there aren't vents on the bottom of your laptop? Most gaming laptops have vents on the bottom for intake and use the rear vents for exhaust

If I play long gaming sessions like those 13 hour kind I keep a small fan blowing near the computer. Not at it, but sideways. Laptops give off a lot of heat. However, in this case it's only happening in one game so it must be internal related.
