And also because the game only expects one player so there’s no system really in multiplayer that decides who gets to control stuff like physics, who owns dropped items, and stuff like that

And because the mod is to unable multiplayer it keeps having to send data back and forth and the game wasn’t built for real time syncing

Syncing like positions and animations stuff like that

And a very unfun outcome is player desync

And you know how like chunk loading is done to prevent lag? Well now it has to have bunches of chunks loaded at once which makes the game ultra laggy

And like being with multiplayer also f*cks up the AI’s because their brains are supposed to only react to one player

So they can like get confused, ignore you or like randomly teleport

And none of it can be fixed bc modders obvi don’t have access to dev tools

||I have a important question,i have the thermal charge ubgrade in my Prawn suit storage so i could maybe escape if it charged just a little bit.
My prawn suit health is at 40% and it's still in the lava.So i need to know how much damage the lava does per second and how quickly does the thermal charge ubgrade charge the prawn suit.Even with just a few percents if i could just get out of the lava i would be save||

||It's not in the lava completely but it's on the lava and it deals a lot of damage, i don't think i can repair it faster than it gets destroyed||

I feel like I've reached a tipping point on my first play through. I found a deep abyss with a base made by the survivor's of a previous crash. I can make big rooms now. I build a little submarine ship to zoom around in (and not bonk into sea life). I got some enticing blue prints like a water purifier for when I end up finding those components.

I've gone from surviving to starting to build my base properly. And I learned about structural integrity the hard way thanks to my unfortunate desire to put windows on every surface.

It's so nice to just explore in that little sub so I have an air bubble to retreat to right where I want to explore. Now I just need to figure out how to recharge those big batteries.

Progress I love it 🥰. For bottom message, big batteries meaning powercells? They take a powercell charger and you can locate those inside some wrecks you find. Laser cutter will be needed for most wrecks. You can charge batteries too, I found those in the wreck by ||lifepod 17|| but may not be a guarantee find, can check it out though

I build my base by lifepod 17 so I can just it's beacon to find my base. I found a lot of bioreactor and mini sub parts here but no recharcher.

I do have a lot of blue prints I can build yet due to ingredients I haven't found yet so I'm just going to use the mini sub to extend my exploration range.

if its real life the chances of killing it with just a knife is low considering that thing has super thick skin. Realistically you can't penetrate it with a knife but at least the stasis technology will work well

To my entrance I mentioned:

Starting from lifepod 17 you use your compass to go clicks left of West (the lines), stay on surface and go about 900m or so away from pod 17. Once you reach that, go down and you'll see ||Sea Treaders|| and a small opening going down to L.R. that I use so you don't run into the ||Ghost|| even though there are warpers, if using cyclops to go through then they can't hurt you and you're safe, But next to the hole before going down it, you can build around there and use a scanner room to find more materials and build. Close to the void but it's a nice location and safer when wanting to venture down deeper and build other bases or do progression or both

If 900m is too far and you're in the void somehow, do a 180 and move in a bit more but I'm sure 900m is either spot on or not spot on and need to keep going forward

Oh I see. But yeah the Aurora is the giant ship that crashed and blew up. The way in is through the broken front, stay near the ship and you won't encounter the reaper you see at the front of the Aurora

I saw a 100% glitched run where they said “start with an 80 save” that had 4 of the teeth that makes the enabled glass.

So I was investigating the alien arch below the waterfall in the lost river. I park my seamoth just outside and make sure nothings near it. I walk in the alien arch (thinking it’s a master portal) and I find absolutely nothing. On my way out I get absolutely jump scared by a ghost leviathan who just ran through the walls. Seconds later he’s on my seamoth (maxed out btw) and then it’s gone. I go deeper in the room trying to survive. But it doesn’t matter bc he is flying through all the walls trying to persistently kill me
