depends on what you put in it. water filter machines take up lots of power so it'll depend on how many of those you have.

from my experience, having bioreactor + solar panel supports a base with one water filter machine
anything really big and you need thermal (in a good spot) or nuclear.

Best plant-based biofuel is gel sack at 245 energy per slot. Simple acid shrooms are quite good also at 210 per slot. For indoor plants bulbo trees and marblemelons have 420 energy per 4 slots and serve as food/water source as well. Lantern fruit is 210 per 4 slots so it's not very good biofuel (although doesn't need replanting).

Impossible to get only titanium due to how the random drops work (something called buckets). Basically you never get 3 same ore in a row.

Flares will work on crabsquids.

Though best way to deal with crabsquids is to turn off the lights. By then you need to be REALLY close in order to trigger them.

Cuz prawn can't turn off the lights making it more risky within the encounters.

Actually there is a trick to turn off prawn lights: remove right side power cell (orbleft, if I remember wrong😅)
