Leviathans don't respawn, void ghost are spawned via a script I wouldn't call it respawning. If you manage to keep their corpse on foundations and you stay there for one year they won't be any more.

Because the script checks if they're up to three that exist when your biome says “void”.

I usually just bring down the cyclops and load it all into my first base || in the lost river || then just bring everything with me and keep going and loading into each next base and going back and getting more from the first base
