For the power issue, during night the solar panels are not generating power, and anyways only one power source is used until it's empty. Scanner room uses power all the time; little when not scanning and more when scanning for something. Water filtration machine uses power until it has 2 water bottles and 2 salt inside.

Dude I have been looking all over the grand reef for the nuclear reactor found nothing and the scanner room I put down only found one wreck and it had nothing in it, partially my fault I didn’t notice I put the scanner room near what looks to be the end of the map, so that side is essentially wasted of the fully upgraded scanner room down there. Nonetheless I have now made my way all the way to the sea teeaders path and still nothing although cool to see
