you could just not leave the seamoth in the way of the bonesharks since they wont actively attack it while youre away

if they run into it they attack it, you can make a cage out of base parts to keep it pretty safe relatively quick and easy

i have lost a seamoth to bonesharks recently, but that was the games fault not mine. NONE of the blueprints i needed that i usually find there were there

i think i had a bug with fragments though because mutliple times i came back to an area that i had already cleaned and there were fragments that werent there originally

could not find cyclops engines despite looking in all the hotspots. like an hour after i finally found the one i needed they were all over wrecks id cleaned out looking specifically for engine frags

its so easy to just go through terrain

that cyclops is also oob which is why i didnt just bring it close to the ground to jump into since there isnt really any ground available without going back in bounds

i think my next course of action for this gimmick is to start a base and see if i can make entrances that i can reach from in bounds since all the resources are in bounds lol

of course i have to transfer all my junk from the first cyclops to the oob one first

the cyclops dock (and im assuming moonpools, hopefully, thats going to be the easiest way to get in and out of an oob base) will grab the prawn through a ceiling, as long as the dock hitbox pokes enough in bounds for the prawn to touch it without letting the cyclops collision starting to go in bounds
