Indie games are defined by independence from big publishers. Subnautica was indie when Unknown Worlds was independent, but once Krafton bought them in 2021, the studio lost control. Any updates after that, like Living Large, are under Krafton, so Subnautica is no longer indie.

Ah a fellow leviathan hunter, I recommend collecting gasopod poison, freezing it in place and then dropping an entire inventory of gas pods right up next to it’s face, it'll be dead in 10-20 seconds.

Mountains has a lot of slots, and inside its wrecks too but it might be too dangerous for your taste. The biome above might be better in that regard.

Also, if you don't find it in BKT you also have the wreck in the Sea Treader's Path which is close.

Heya, Does the Cyclops Thermal Reactor Module stack? The recharge rate is insanely slow.

I actually fabricated a chair besides the charging display within the cyclops, so you can sit down and don't starve or dehydrate while the thing is charging.

Neither here nor there but I think the blueprints for the|| Ion|| Batteries/Cells are made way too late available into the game. When you get them, you basically don't need them anymore but for your|| escape rocket||. Would have been cool, if you could find the blueprints maybe not long after you build the Cyclops.

The reason it's that late, is because you have to decide if you want to take your time crafting them for the Cyclops after getting a bit weaker in the ||ILZ||. As having a Cyclops there means as long as you have energy you're pretty much invincible (shield, silent running, ...).
But it's also and mainly because they didn't want you to finish the ||Neptune|| without having explored the late game biomes.

It is related to save & load before the Aurora explodes indeed.

I've read that you're fine now, but for the others I'll just confirm that if you've encountered the bug, you just have to wait. The Aurora will explode at the right time.

The technical explanation is that the explosion time is recalculated after loads, before the value is de-serialized. So the PDA warning happens before the actual explosion.

I only had one first contact it ate my seamoth the usually. all other contacts were on purpose but you can totally avoid getting attacked when you learn how this game works. and you don't have to face any reaper to beat the game. maybe from far awy.

try to get a cyclops as soon as you can if you're afraid of dangerous big fish. inside you don't have to be afraid anymore. and if you want to you can use it as mobile base.

You should definately try them all. But when you know the map by heart you have your ways to beat the game with seaglide only. What I don't like is the narrowed view with the prawn you can't really see what happens above you.

But you need it for drilling notes and when you find out how to use double grabbling arm you have the fastest vehicle in the game.

fair but my problem with the seaglide is that when im going to deep depths it doesnt give an oxygen supply

Yes but you can play the game however you want. My ways only work when you know the map by heart and when you know some taktiks you can use for your advantage. When you know where to go you can do this by seaglide and a second oxygen tank. After I had beaten game several times I watched too much speedruns.

I don't use glitches just simply strats to beat the game faster.
