A mega-base here is very nice. You can build underwater will glass dome to have the view on the floaters, build vertical connectors since you're in the middle of the island and build the rest on land.

ive found bug that i cant quite explain. i approached from the back right of my cyclops and may have clipped through the door for the vehicle bay, and the game tried to make me exit and my hands moved and everything, but my character wont move nor will my camera. the unstuck feature isnt working and i dont want to save as i feel like it will be stuck when i go back

If you don't have the propulsion cannon you should get it. While it isn't mandatory it makes your life easier and avoid going back the same way.

If 'armor' means hull reinforcement upgrade, it reduces only collision damage but not creature attacks. Since prawn is already immune to collision damage, the upgrade is useless on it (and also the usefulness in seamoth is dependent how good driver you are...)

So it scans within a 500m radius, you go to the panel and it comes how you any objects it finds within 500m and makes them on the map, it’s quite useless until you get the scanner chip hud upgrade which marks the objects on your JUD, which is crafted in the scanner room

I think it’s 500m, it might be 300m, but I can’t remember if it’s glitched or not
