To be able to see it you would have to be at two places at once. You should have the CellRoot loaded in the batch 7-16-20 and check at the origin point at the same time.

I guess I could check if it even has one CellRoot parent. Or if it was serialized out of one, and that's the reason it has this position (not being children of any CellRoot transform).

The safe way is to build a series of horizontal and vertical connectors until you get the base where you want it. It takes an astronomical amount of titanium and you'll die a lot, but you'll never have to worry about risk once it's done.

It depends what the mods does.

For instance something that adds a fragment / creature / structure in a specific biome will probably not add it if the area was already loaded once in your save before adding the mod.

But something like having more hotbar slots will probably work in old saves.

So unless you check how all your mods are handling whatever they add I would just start a new save.

so crashfish can swim fast in a straight line, but suck at turning. The trick is to listen, they make a noise as they struggle out of their lil pod things. Find where the fish is, wait until it's starting to swim towards you, and swim straight at it so you pass it. Keep swimming forward, as the fish isn't able to turn around fast enough and will explode behind you

no, the map is always the same. however, there is a set area where the lifepod can spawn, basically lifepod can spawn anywhere in that area

the spawn area isn't actually that big, but it can be hard to navigate by landmarks when you don't know the map yet. I believe it takes 2 scans to get the beacon and it's pretty cheap to craft, so use beacons as much as you need

you have to scan fragments that you find lying around, general rule of thumb for subnautica is to scan everything you can (when you have crafted a scanner, a little icon will pop up in the bottom right corner od the screen if youre within scanning distance of something you haven't scanned

so these are the highlights of the stupid crashfish breeding program that was a waste.
1 and 2. this is pretty much what i was doing, i had a tower of large rooms that i had alternating aquariums in to maximize the space while still allowing them to roam to maximize breeding. once they hit capacity i went down the tower disabling the aquariums to force the fish into a different one, eventually cramming them into the base for easy access. i didnt show building them because it wasnt anything special
3. too many crashfish
4. this was the setup loop, yes the cyclops is full of lockers and yes all the lockers are full of crashfish. theres 34 lockers there holding 12 crashfish each. the plan was to take the cyclops to a leviathan and pelt it with the propulsion arm and jump back in to reload
5. this was the teardown loop, the best way i could think of emptying those lockers was by using 3 trash cans because crashfish are big
all in all 2/10 experience would not recommend. was fun
oh and btw your computer/wifi/discord isnt broken thats actually the game freezing every time. great fun

there isnt a particular spot that theyre super dense in, youre just going to have to scour the shallows

past the kelp forests are grassy plateaus, which have a lot of sandstone thats easier to find and also has a bunch of wrecks around that have pretty good techs, i would recommend going over there at some point. the scanner room is your friend

though thats at around 100m so id recommend getting a rebreather before trying that

Those should unlock blueprint for rebreather. It removes the faster oxygen consumption below 100m and below 200m

that should let you see, and it will make spotting limestone easier since it blends into the rock

Hint: small edible fish are more passive at night, so you can stay near your pod and catch food (just don't cook them until you need to eat) and water during night
