even if you dont have the power to craft on the cyclops itself if you have a vehicle you can get back to base easier
alternatively, you could take the battery(ies) out of the vehicle and put them into the cyclops. as long as you dont replace the cells on the vehicle with the dead ones theyre free cells

even 1 cell should be enough to get you back to base (assuming its somewhere in/around safe shallows) where you can charge your dead ones and make an extra set so you dont have to come back all the time

even once you get the thermal reactor module its still a good idea to have a backup set because youre not going to find thermals in many places

I would advice to keep it above the wreck. Fish slots are usually deep.

In Subnautica often you have slots / resources where the red is, fishes are in the blue area and above it you basically have nothing.

Of course, maybe one of two fishes could swim there due the RNG.

So if you're above the wreck and high enough from the ground there shouldn't be any boneshark.

Find the ||Cave system with extensive fossil record|| first.

Once you're there try to stay in the biome at 800 meters depth.

It's the ||Lost River||, you should have found one of its entrances.

Yes. If you die you respawn in your lifepod, base or cyclops, depending in which you have last been before dying.

If it's stuck on dry land, go make yourself a propulsion cannon. If you cannot lift the seamoth directly, pick up a rock, debris or whatever you can find and push the seamoth with it. (Don't shoot.)
