Same goes for the ||dragon|| although you can almost entirely avoid encountering them

Though if you do encounter that one it surely poses the greatest threat

imo reaper is the most threatening due to how often they can be encountered when trying to gets certain things in the early to mid game

There are at least 2 reapers that are in the koosh zone, one near the mountain island and the other near the aurora. I'd imagine there is probably one other at least that would enter near the dunes border, but i cannot confirm, i rarely go to that koosh zone/bulb zone area. (Afaik it is literally never actually called the bulb zone in game, but i could be wrong)

It is a very good biome, you don't need to farm like, anything other than bulb bushes to get effectively infinite food and water. Plus you have access to basically every resource if you have a prawn suit.

I have built a base there before, but the one thing i had a hard time with was power... I was trying to use solar power down there lol. I suggest using anything else, you barily get any power from those down that deep.

Ive built a few but deciding on a main base it quite tricky

That greatly depends on what your preference is. If you like visuals lost river, koosh zone, or the floating islands, if you wan resources... Honestly couldn't tell you, subnautica just throws resources everywhere so no matter what you are going to have to move around... Oh, and if you want to just give yourself the creeps find a flat area under the map.

I always build my main base in the safe shallows, probably not the best idea because of the stalkers that steal your cameras, but it is in the center of the map, and there for is easy to get back to.

If i had to recommend, i'd say build a base as close to the safe shallows as possible, that doesn't have those stalkers, and then build bases based on where you go for resources.

But that explaination is not there. RME has been around since Quake 2. Regardless of this exploid gets fixed or not (In most cases its not) is unlikely just because mods can allready do that regardless of making use of RME or not. RME is really only dangerous in multiplayer games

I am making a big deal because I cannot now play mods that require older branches all because they decided to say "You cant use older braanches" when the only thing dangerous in the case of subnautica and bz is the fact that if something happens, it's probally done due to the mods. Not because of RCE.

My favorite is the bioreactor, as it's cheap to build, and easily refueled

depends on the size of the habitat and its location

generally speaking the bigger and deeper you go the more you go down the chain of solar -> bioreactor -> nuclear reactor

I dont bother with the nuclear reactor in most of my playthroughs unless im running more than one moonpool and/or a water filtration machine
