there isnt one in the underwater islands the locations are dunes, crag field, mountains, BKZ, and grand reef pretty much right under the floating island

When you spend a few minutes there the PDA will say ||the biome should probably terrify you|| but you can kinda just ignore it because the only dangers are warpers (5 knife hits to get rid of them, 3 with thermoblade) and ampeels (just stay above them and they mostly ignore you)

for me its fabrication room, storage room, living quarters(not needed but it makes it feel more homey) an aquarium, a room for maybe a bioreactor or nuclear reactor, a greenhouse and ofc 1 or 2 moonpools

and an observatory if your building in a pretty spot

also just go get ALOT of resources more than you think youll need

id also stay away from large rooms in my opinion its harder to make them look good, and avoid stacking more than 2 multipurpose rooms so your base doesnt look like its just a tower

and the lights inside the base use no power

well actually I guess they use some power cause when it goes out the lights turn off but they dont actually drain the power

I like the idea of large rooms more than the implementation. Because the connection points for interior walls to the exterior wall are the same as where you would put windows, so any room you put in has to be double as wide as you want it. And I should be able to put in a multipurpose-sized ACU on each of the four center spots.

But currently they're just the stable builds because of the Unity fix.

I have a custom recipe that requires more materials to make bleach, but returns four bottles instead of two. In my head, a bottle of bleach is too strong for only two bottles of water but sufficiently diluted in four. (Probably not really, I imagine in real life a capful would be enough for a bottle or two of water.)

When you're carful you don't have to be afraid. First creatures are attrackted by noise from the engine. you have a radar on the right side of the bridge. use it. everytime a hostile creature appears in your radius there's a yellow arrow. then my way is to power off the engine and sit on a chair in the bridge and watch until it goes away. when you power off the engine your cyclops is invisible. and decoys are great when you really get attacked.

There are quite a few back there, but I'm talking about the front. Try looking for a mushroom place between the island and the front of the Aurora but don't try to get too close to either

guys i have alien containments on the top 2 floors but when i drop my egg thne it sinks thru the floor and is on the ground beloow the base why is that happening?

Apparently it's a visual glitch and the eggs will hatch normally (and the hatched creatures appear inside the alien containment)
