if you dont have it there isnt really a good way
the best tip I have is just remember you can build a little bit at a time. Go down, build like 20% of the plant, head back up before you get roasted. Takes longer but you wont die.

I built my main base on the edge of the floating island then did not realize the bone shark problem I was going to encounter so I had to go down there with the prawn suit all the way to the wreck and be the bone shark bully, clearing them all out.

Under the Bulb zone there’s a bunch of small, twisty caves that go deep down to a lava biome. Not the ||Lost River||.

Easy to miss, as the entrance is quite small. Easy to lose your way in, as well.

It's an excellent mobile forward operating base. You can put many, many, many lockers on it, as well as fabricators, battery chargers, etc. You just have to manage your noise to not attract unwanted attention.

I have a base there and when I try to go down to mine ores my prawn suits health gets obliterated and I can barely escape without my prawn being destroyed. There are like 8 of them locked onto me and other come from further away. Has anyone experienced this?

Bonesharks have a special behavior making them especially aggressive towards piloted vehicles. So it's difficult to say if what you're experiencing is vanilla or not.

Note that when I say vehicle I mean Prawn Suit and Seamoth.

The Cyclops doesn't inherit the Vehicle class.

Void dives are very fun the ghosties can flip you 180 degrees and you travel nose down so if that happens hope you’ve got enough juice left in the tank

When you send one it is sent in the pending queue. https://subnautica.unknownworlds.com/time-capsules, it needs to be approved and enter the active pool, only then it can be spawned in people's games. But when they're in the active pool, they stay.

The oldest ones were found 60k+ times for instance.

There are hundreds of thousands in the pending queue. So make sure yours stands out from the crowd.

It seems very unlikely that the game didn't generate at least one in the areas you discovered.

But you aren't alone, it's very rare for players to find a lot in their game as they don't look for it specifically.
