also if you want to have a lightweight linux distro without the hassle of installing it or really learning anything about linux, the steam deck is a good option.

If you want the achievement, you can save before releasing it and then quit without saving and reload while it's not yet released (also if you savw while it's in your inventory and reload save, you have cuddlefish which you can release and pick back up)

This is for the first cyclops depth upgrade. Subsequent depth upgrades are made within the cyclops itself.
Prawn depth upgrades are made in the modification station, iirc.
