So I'm on my 4th run in Subnautica. Gonna build a base in the ||Tree Cove in LR|| for the first time. I have cave sulfur, acid mushrooms, creepvine and seed clusters. is there anything else I need for survival and advancement that is not obtainable in that area that I am forgetting? Really don't wanna have to run past the ||Ghost Leviathan|| every time I need resources outside the base location lol.

If you have prawn with drill arm you should be able to get everything else down there. For salt you need to build water filtration machine

yeah. I have that and the resources to build 2 filtration machines. I just wanted to check and make sure so i don't have to dodge the ghosties too often. Gotta head down to the ||ILZ and activate the teleporter to the enforcement platform island|| soon so it's easier for me to get around. I have bulbo trees, chinese potato, marblemelon, and lantern fruit. there's some bladderfish down there too but not many.

you need a mod for the PC version and I think you need to host a server on your own pc but i don't know for sure. never tried it.

Subnautica 2 will have 4-player co-op mode, I recommend waiting for it's release to play with friends. it'll likely be more polished than a mod for og subnautica.
