Bioreactor has its uses. Like said, it has a large battery, and biofuel is easy to get: with growbeds or alien containment you can set up infinite biofuel source, or even a grav trap can work to catch fish for biofuel

You should try survival, Shadow. Also they removed the speed penalty when you're hungry or dehydrated. I'm guessing it was lost during the Below Zero's scripts backport.

I enjoy the relaxed gameplay, not worrying about hunger and thirst meters
It’s not that it’s very difficult to play survival, but sometimes due to my health issues, I doze off playing games. It’s usually not an issue of falling asleep while swimming (and drowning) but I can fall asleep in base. I don’t have to worry about that, but if I had thirst and hunger, I could die of those (it wouldn’t be such a big deal I guess, but I might lose items on respawn, I suppose😂)

It gives you four titanium ores though. It takes 2x2 inventory slots. So it's the same as if you had gotten 4 titanium ores from the outcrops. See it that way. Even if it's four slots you can't rearrange as you like.

Someone was mentioning earlier today, quoting how the wiki says it’s possible, though rare, to get up to 3 cyclops engine fragments from the cargo bay of aurora. Is this true? I was looking through some of your messages, and I’m not sure if I was reading correctly, are there really 5 potential slots for cyclops engine fragments in the cargo bay? What’s the max number of engine fragments you can find there? I know you can find none, because I don’t tend to have any luck there myself (although I usually look elsewhere first, anyway)

You keep everything you had when you were last inside your lifepod, base or cyclops. You lose things collected after that, excpet story items and one random item. The 'lost' items are dropped to where you die and can be recovered later

I think they also backported from below zero that if you carry a beacon when you die, the beacon is dropped and renamed so you can easily find the spot and recover items

Get into something as low as you can go

Like for example if you're at the aurora and in that dirt area, just try and find a big enough crevice and boom, Crisis averted
