But back to the question with power transmitters, the range between transmitters is 100m, but range from power source is something like 20m. As XDRyan5 said, you should see a blue connecting line when building it to know it connects

Tiger plants don’t attack the base directly, but if you swim near one that’s near the base, they can shoot at the base when they’re shooting at you, indirectly causing damage to the base

Due to some sort glitch with the scanner room range, you actually get the full 500m scanning complement without adding any range upgrades.
Adding range upgrades is therefore unnecessary (all it does is add to the holographic image visual inside the scanner room, afaik)

It doesn’t mean ||anything, it’s just aesthetic, or for immersion purposes basically; in fact doing the DFR is optional unless you want an achievement/trophy, and the lore of course||

I drive straight to the wreck (which if it’s your first time, understandably that’s not going to be that feasible unless you’ve used videos or other references). But they don’t bother me a lot. You can usually get out and repair as long as you aren’t in a group of them, that’s when they’re especially dangerous.

I’ve occasionally had an issue with one or two, once at the wreck, but I go in my seamoth and do my best to park it somewhere where there aren’t any bonesharks nearby. I save before exploring so I’ll be sure to have it to come back to😅

They don’t have much health. I’m not one to kill things, but they succumb quickly to a few knife strikes

You don’t have to, but you can fix the drive core and make it go away (takes a few days to completely go away) there’s also a cyclops module in that area, I think it’s engine efficiency but you can craft one if you don’t want to bother (if you’ve left already)

For this, I'm going for a walk locker or equivalent thereof of all 1x1 resources (including seeds and plants) and craftable materials (ie, anything under the basic / advanced mats and electronic tabs in the fabricator. On console there is a neat trick that can tell you a very good estimation of the coordinates too. I find it more interesting than using the F1 menu. But you need a special object.

If you go around Underwater Islands, the slots are replaced. Once you go away, all the properties (position, rotation, and object specific properties) are saved.

So once you go back there, they'll be at the same place you went there the first time.
