The cyclops can be an amazing mobile base, but there are a few things it can’t do (which as a submarine, makes sense I think)

Hi, I encontered a strange problem:
I constructed a base (this one at the edge of void but had similar issue in the past with other one) - then had to built some number of power transmitters to power it up from photovoltaic panels and it worked
then I went to explore a bit in nearby area and after return noticed that it is offline (but power transmission line between transmitters was there)
So I deconstructed them and constructed new ones adding I think two more + few more panels to be on safe side and it was OK again till I returned from another further trip

I had no such issues in most of my bases including one way further down inside jellyshroom area that I patched power there from panels on reef

I've been trying to find new ways to do a playthrough, and I think I've got something interesting. I set the rules there were FOUR actual survivors. Keen, Yu(though hurt), MO Danbay, and one other. Now, Keen set up a base in the Eastern Mushroom forest, Yu is with him. And MO Danbay is the Bulb Zone. The other survivor is in a boneshark invested zone.
Second, scan a Beacon. Your starting zone is in the Underwater islands. Once the base there has a tube, fabricator and a radio, you got to drop everything you brought from the Drop Pod and turn off that signal for good.
Now, Keen is the first quest. He sends you to find Danbay in the Bulbzone, to get a specific item alongside medkits to heal CTO Yu. But Danbay's base is going to flood within 20 minutes and you need to build reinforcements x2. Once that is done, Danbay needs a Gabe's Feather and x2 Blood oil to help CTO Yu.

The game is interesting, but it's just an expansion of Subnautica, not a true sequel, so it's closely tied to the original but likely unrelated to part 2. There's also a lot of land exploration, which isn't as fun. Subnautica is definitely better, but Below Zero is still worth playing if you already have it—otherwise, wait for a sale.

in subnautica, apart from leviathans, warpers, crackfishs :-), and cavecrawler, everything can be easily avoided

in senise, theoretically, leviathans and the others are also possible, but they are so annoying
