If you think about there being defined locations where there are lifepods, wrecks, potential locations for blueprints, etc, proc gen would make that a lot more complicated
As opposed to say a game like No Man’s Sky where you use progress to unlock (purchase using in game progression) blueprints. The game would need to be structured differently in a number of ways

I don’t see it as being “bad” necessarily it’s just different way to do something (using proc gen)

sea moth, how many upgrades do you have on your prawn? if you have the jet and grappling hook upgrades i'd recommend not bringing your sea moth into the deep grand reef and instead only to the entrance of the caves, go in with your seaglide, and then get out with your prawn. in my experience warpers and crabsquids are extremely annoying to deal with in the sea moth and are a pain to get around

it's pretty fun so far, not as hard as people were saying imo, but PLEASE for the love of god tell me there's a way to remove the stupid radiation grain filter, i already ||fixed the aurora's reactor|| and it didn't do anything

What I meant was this person had never played hardcore, which idk it just seemed maybe a bit odd they went for deathrun and had not tried hardcore? Idk maybe that’s common and I just am not aware🤷‍♀️

Deathrun is a mod, once put in the folde no matter what gamepde you chose you will play per deathrun rules
