Yes, but you'll need to try and set up FM8 in the game's menu
Switch to the GAMEPLAY & HUD tab
Scroll to the bottom and enable Data Out
Enter your local IP address 127.0.0.1
Set the Data Out IP Port to: 5300
Set the Data Out Packet Format to: Car Dash```
Last part will be either Sled or Dash data, I can't confirm atm. (though I think it's the Dash one, check whether the Wheel Slip HUD and the Input Trace HUD are receiving data.

F1 25 is almost a constant force, this is based on wheel slip
it works now but is weak
So it is supposed to have soft feedback when there is not a lot of wheel slip (use the Wheel Slip HUD to see it)
Have you disabled these 2?
wheel slip sense is worse strength with it, compare with XBOX

There's another way you can make DSX mods but you'll have to write code for it either in C# or C++. Firstly you'll need to download DSX 3.1 mod system from their github page, it's a code template written in C# to get you started with sending trigger and LED effects to DSX. And you'll also need to use Cheat Engine to search for memory addresses that the game uses for example when Leon holds a shotgun, a specific value is set to that memory address that you can use in your code to make the trigger effects on the controller dynamic when the value changes for different guns, etc. So the trigger resistance will change without you needing to change profiles. It takes time to do this but if you're interested and need assistance with this, you can DM me.

BeamNG pretty sure the latest one with the construction vehicles, DSX is latest as well and I installed the mod from the repository (I'll look into the version numbers when I get on PC and give you the exact versions, sorry about that)

An important note here @rose arrow @vast jewel if youβre using Bluetooth audio/Haptics it might not be same behavior as intended, or not implemented properly since DSX sends data to the controller via a different pipeline.
So I would suggest On/Off for testing to see if the BT audio/haptics is the issue

Hi, just follow any mod's instructions on its hosting page (be it NexusMods or Github), as for DSX itself, just make sure you have Mod System enabled by having the Fix Firewall Rules stuff done in Settings - Networking (It should should a green shield) and you enabled Incoming UDP with port 6969 (default)

tyres are from rubber so they bend a bit

I have most if not all settings in DSX on default
Basically a tyre deforms when you try to corner, same like when you hold your hand on the table and you move it laterally your skin slightly moves
at some point the tyre can't deform any further (like your skin stops moving) and at that moment, that's the limit of grip, after that your tyre/hand starts slipping
Each tyre is different, so one setting might not work for all tyres. Same goes for the drive train, if you got a 4wd car the tyres will "slip" differently when accelerating, or a front wheel drive car etc..
Basically a little bit of wheel slip is okay since the tyre is simply deforming a bit, but too much and you'll be sliding
have fun, it's basically a dynamic system where the trigger ffb can adjust to physics of the car

Hey, I'm starting a run on RDR2 on PC, I see there are 2 DSX mods : one from killface and one from shtivi.
Can anyone advise which one is better (or even simply still functionning as of today, with latest game and DSX updates) ?

Yes that's the one I went for. Works perfectly, so great to have adaptative triggers flawlessly integrated in this game.
I might start to check if something interesting can be done with audio to haptics. Never played with that.
The thing is, I haven't had time to make updates anymore, and since people were asking for help, I decided to mark it as discontinued, but maybe it will work if the games haven't been updated.
But if there was an update, it must have stopped working, because the memory pointers were changed, since my app used ReadProcessMemory.
dirt rally 2.0 has been broken as well, I wonder if there was some alteration to how it interfaces? the logs I've been able to get from DSX seem fine but it's not doing anything, and I know the dsx settings are correct
I'm willing to re-tool racingdsx but no idea what's exactly broken/changed here

All the more reasons for DSX's Mod System to get an Audio API for modders to make use of, they could "easily" tap into engine sounds if they can access them individually (or craft/select specific sfx files) and simply send them raw or have DSX process them with some tweakable parameters (eg. pitch shifting down for Haptics), all in an accessible way

I made an update to Race Element's DSX integration, you can now independently disable or enable either the throttle or brake haptics.
This means that you can use a custom trigger effect within DSX or simply use no effect at all.

Plz don't call them haptics if they're not about rumble/audio haptics, this only further spreads misnomers 
To be fair it should be called Kinesthetic Haptics
Fair indeed, but wouldn't help with the usual Adaptive Triggers being misnamed Haptics by many
I was also thinking to perhaps make the throttle and brake triggers swappable, so lefties can also play
(although throttle is usually the right side pedal in a car)

Does it work with the flower shop version? I set everything up correctly, the controller works, but the adaptive triggers don't work.
I tried both wired and wireless.

i think no
cause Race Element need data from FH6 (which only can be sent through network) and the "flower shop" version has all internet connection (including internal network connection that send the data) blocked up
you should buy the XBOX GAME PASS version for cheaper pricing to try FH6 with Race Element (it really make the experience feel so immersive and i love Race Element)
