Yeah, it’s disgusting but it’s the developers fault. $1 billion + in revenue, the game has been out for 12 years and we still see hackers, no “report button” for example that exists in every other game, the top run leaderboard took weeks just to fix simple medals

I prefer City because of its more engaging and more challenging gameplay, and I appreciate that they value quality over quantity. There's many details to appreciate and I like that it takes some effort to really master it. With surfers and boards having different abilities, I feel like there's more to talk about and different ways to play the same game as well. The original game feels ridiculously easy in comparison and I genuinely struggle to stay awake when playing it unless I am watching something else at the same time. SS City I'm able to play with my full attention most of the time.

That's not to say, SS City doesn't have some cons (there are many boards but only a few boards are really effective, new five ticket limit, the in-game pop-ups are annoying af), and its updates have a longer wait time, which frustrates a lot of players, but really if you're playing a game of this quality made by a smaller team, you should expect to wait. This game doesn't want to throw out 3 low effort characters and boards with barely modified locations. You have to wait for good quality things and people should learn that.
