As we move toward the month of June, usually the month, which represents “pride”, I would like to do some housekeeping.

First, I would like to start by saying that there will always be individuals who hold homophobic views or exhibit discriminatory behavior towards the LGBTQ+ community. It is vital to recognize that the presence of homophobia does not diminish the worth or importance of LGBTQ+ individuals and their identities.

As we have observed and monitored behaviour over last year’s occurrence, we are definitely sure that we can certainly create a more inclusive ecosystem where everyone can thrive and be respected for who they are.

If there are homophobic remarks, I strongly suggest to contact Core Crew by pinging the role, or open a mod ticket by private messaging (Direct messaging) @flat raft.

While anger is a natural response to discrimination and bigotry, it may not always lead to productive outcomes. Reacting angrily might escalate the situation, potentially causing more harm or reinforcing negative stereotypes. Instead of responding with anger, I’d suggest approaches such as educating and raising awareness, promoting empathy and understanding.

With that being said, happy pride month!

New Search Function (Yup you read that right! You can search now the specific surfer you want to play now, you can find it in the Characters Menu, counts also for Hoverboards.
Subway Studio (you ever wanted to hangout with your Surfers in real life? Now you can! Just tab on the Camera icon and create some cool moments with it 📸 ,this new feature will be soon available for everyone
Collections (Collections are currently in a Slow-Roll Phase that means only a handful of players will receive it for testing purposes,in future its planned that everyone else will receive it too, and for those who have it, Collections moved now to the ME section)
Bug Fixes (some bugs got fixed as example noels eyes looked at the wrong side which got now corrected) 🐛

We’ve heard some mumblings around the server that leaks for our next season are going around.

We want to take this time to clear the air and remind everyone of one of our core server rules: Be Kind.

Leakers extracted information from the game files of our latest update that soft-launched a feature in Argentina. This is where all the information has come from. (This feature will be available to y'all next season so stay tuned!)

We don’t usually acknowledge leaks, but in this case, we felt the need to do so because many have been blaming members of our Creator Club for this incident.

**Please do not jump to conclusions so quickly, and don't be rude to other people via DMs or on our channels. **

@obtuse bramble, and in the near future @snow cliff will now be new bot for this command, replacing @dull umbra. this gives mods more flexibility to mods' and makes it easier to moderate.

The !qr command allow for a quick report, in case of an instant ban case. This means the mod receiving the report should take the ban decision in less than a second.

check Use !qr for Flooding, Spamming, Homophobia...

CrossButton Do not use !qr for advertisement, wrong channel used, issues between 2 users, in those scenario, drop a dm to @flat raft

freshfunk New feature : Quick Report reason !
You can now add a reason to help the mod understand better !

She doesn't have much time left, and when the sun starts to light up the sky, she is already on the move, jumping rooftops and balancing across clothing lines. Time is ticking, but Oni Hime has done this many times before.

As the street vendors set up their stalls for the day, Oni Hime strikes. Who can resist the sight of a perfect apple? She grins below her mask. The vendors can shout all they want, they'll never catch her.

At 5:55am, Oni Hime sits down, placing the perfect apple on the corner or her desk. As a straight-A student, Oni Hime is always early. The teacher is pleased with her favourite student, though she expected nothing less. Laughing, the teacher says, "Always early! Oni Hime, will you never rebel like your fellow students?" Within the past 24 hours, our server has unfortunately been affected by two spam links that offered free Discord products. We want to address this issue as well as some other questions that members have raised.

**Spam/Scam Link **

We have deleted all messages and no longer allow links on the server. We realize this may affect content creators' ability to post YouTube videos and links to their personal pages and want to say this is just temporary until we have a better solution. Safety must come first.

Creators

The reason for allowing links in the first place was to enable our creators to share their content. If you’re a content creator, please share your work as images, and not links, and be sure to include your username, handle, or other, as well as a platform so we can check it out.

Has your account been compromised?

If you’ve clicked on any of the two spam links that offered free Discord products, and you believe your account has been compromised through hacking, here are some steps from the Discord “Tips Against Spam and Hacking’ you can take to regain access and protect yourself in the future:

Reset your password.

Choose a long password with a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and special characters that is hard to guess and isn’t used for anything else. We recommend using a password manager which can make creating and storing secure passwords extremely easy.

If your account’s token has been compromised, reset your password to generate a new token. You should never give your account password or token to anyone. Discord will never ask for this information.

Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication (2FA) strengthens your account to protect against intruders by requiring you to provide a second form of confirmation that you are the rightful account owner.

we are going to be updating some things on the server over the next couple of weeks 🎉

for starters we've added some long requested features such as self-assigned ping roles that will notify you for Announcements, Twitter posts, YouTube content. . . and of course GIVEAWAYS

we've also added the entire core crew to the Crew role — you can now join Ninja's, Tagbot's, Tasha's, Zoe's, Ella's, Brody's, Prince K's, Miss Maia's, Dino's, or Boombot's squad.

first, we are trying out a ModMail bot — message the bot if you need to get in contact with the Crew. this is NOT for game related issues — this is only for issues on the Discord server.

second, you might have noticed the new role on the side, <@&912642658411880448>, with @tidal kindle and @foggy slate. They’ll be around now and you’ll probably see them in the #report-a-bug. they’re gonna provide some help for bugs you may encounter, collect info, and follow up with our dev team about any persistent issues. lit

We have become aware of a new phishing scam method. guardanddog

Users across Discord have been receiving an increasing number of private messages (DMs/Direct Messages) which claim that their account has been posted in a “shaming / exposing” Discord server as a result of inappropriate conduct.

DO NOT click on the server invite. Upon joining, you are to be greeted by an unverified bot, prompting you to scan a “Discord” QR code which will grant a third party access to your account. This will let others hijack your account and private message your friend-list.

If you've had this happen, please change your password.

Never click on suspicious links, even if the sender is from your friend-list.

You may also see similar scams across Discord. They include, but are not limited to:
・ Do not click any link that advertises “free nitro”. Real gifts will be displayed as an embed.
・Do not click any link from users who want you to “beta-test”, or try-out, their game.
・ Do not click any link from someone mentioning your Steam account.
・Do not click any link mentioning your acceptance into a Discord program. Discord’s official system bot has a unique “System” badge, not a “bot” one.
・ Do not click suspicious links, whether they be from a stranger, or friend.

As always we recommend you turn on two-factor authentication & if you happen to receive a DM like this from another user on this server, please direct-message <@&920260942749650955>.
