They do "daily deals" where you can buy tokens for random surfers and boards. Best way would be to spend keys on upgrading them though. And you can buy as many as you want of those. In terms of p2w. The more characters you have, and upgrades to them you have, the greater your global runner bonus. But it's just the leaderboard that you would be "winning" and literally everyone gets the same reward for it. You could be 100th, or 1st in the leaderboard. And you'd both get the same reward. So there's no competition to it at the moment, so no p2w.

Yes there is probably an issue with that. Prince K was still on the trials for a day after the season ended

and you could still select him and get the Subway Pass purchase prompt. but I guess you would then be unable to collect any of the rewards because the pass menu was gone already
