Hey everyone! I was just told to come here to place a ticket for the 1000 slots? I don't see a place to do that, so I'm assuming we don't, and after looking through the server, I'm seeing that the issue is known and instead of being given the slots manually, we have to just wait?

Is that true, or should I actually DM Kathy or someone else on the admin team? Just wanted to be sure before I bother anyone!

make sure you have logged into the 7tv site with your main account, then attempt to link the kick connection

When I linked my Discord account, it changed my username and removed my sub and all emotes from my Twitch Username. Now when I go to relink my Twitch account it opens it with my Twitch username but no emotes and no subs and treats it like a separate account. How do I fix this? the other emotes you are referring to, are the emotes that were enabled for that specific stream only
they can be enabled in other streams as well ofc, but it's not guaranteed

it was changed that way since you have discord as primary connection
but as long as your twitch connection is correct, you should still see the emotes in your channel
and from what im seeing, it is fine as it is and more of a OBS chat problem, not 7tv connection problem

The upgrade to 1000 slots was only for existing members. I'm not sure if it's possible to give it to all users. 600 is aleady an insane number, and 7TV has a lot more users now than it did back then.

Hi, I'm encountering a bug on the channel I'm an editor on that I don't know how to solve. When I remove an emote from a set, what happens is that the emote slot is not freed, but instead replaced by "*UnknownEmote", which cannot be deleted in any way and just takes up the emote slots. Once the whole set was filled like this and I had to create another one. Does anyone know what to do with it?

Is the only way to get my main account back by merging the account that has my discord connected to it with my main?

We've had some reports in the FFZ discord as well and some users said that clearing their cookies made it work again.

However, that would end up clearing your FFZ settings as well (probably 7TV too? I don't know if it also stores settings in the site data / local storage)

My assumption is that Twitch has a new experiment going on at maybe 50/50 rollout (so 50% of all users get that experiment) and that is what's causing loading issues.

Clearing your cookies on Twitch (or rather, that one specific setting) causes a re-roll of all experiments, so there's a chance it would work again, or that you're once again rolled into the experiment.

There's an experiment that updates to a newer version of React. Version 18.2.0 rather than 16.14.0

FFZ (and I assume also 7TV?) inject themselves into React, which is what Twitch uses for their frontend / to render all the elements in the webpage.
The new version probably has the variables to inject into at different spots in the code etc.

So the "clear cookies" method should work as well.

Again, you might have to do it a few times to not get rolled into the new experiment.

Also, keep in mind that this would clear your FFZ / 7TV settings, too.

Ever since last night, around 7pm EST, I have not been able to see any 7tv emotes, custom name colors, mod actions, or any of the other qol changes brought by 7tv like point auto claim. This started after I closed and reopened chrome to let it finish an update. I have tried clearing cookies, reinstalling the add on, switching to the "nightly" version, and changing the settings. It will still hide UI elements.

I've had this issue for about a week now, 7tv doesn't work and is disabling both bttv and the other one I forget the name of. When I try to configure 7tv this is all I can see. You can also see that my "Send a message" section of the website doesn't look as it should.

I've attempted two fresh installs and went through the onboarding process that pops up and nothing works. Randomly two days ago it went to normal and the next morning it was broken again and it has stayed that way.

ok, then that is probably the cause. At the moment having multiple of the extensions installed leads to some problems. Try to only have one of them active. Regardless of which one you choose, you can enable the other ones emotes in the settings

I think the only reason I have FFZ installed is because of the "disable homepage auto-play" option. I guess I'll have to sacrifice that.

You probably have to wait a few days for it to solve itself. It seems like even after some emotes got approved it takes some time for the system to recognize that the limit is not hit anymore. Last person I knew with this problem had to wait for roughly a week after a bunch of his emotes got approved
