To be honest it is probably a client side issue you're experiencing

The extension currently uses indexedDB as its mechanism to share data across your browser , but it seems to perform very differently depending on the system

Sometimes the browser also randomly pauses IDB so when your tab is idle for a while it'll just stop refreshing data

That's been made even worse since Chrome introduced a "memory saving" mode which really does nothing except make your browsing less stable, it aggressively releases memory by halting inactive tabs

Soon im gonna experiment with doing the instancing in memory rather than IDB - as afaik chrome does not kill shared workers, only page scripting

Tho i think there's currently an issue with accounts with kick as primary/first connection, which they might not be able to link other connection

I disabled the origins feature and did a lot of cleanup, but I still have several "UnknownEmote" in the emote set and one of them has an alias. 2. Currently your discord is set to your primary connection, so your 7tv username is based on that. After your kick account is deleted, remove your discord connection to make your twitch the primary connection, then connect back the discord and kick account

Idk if this has been an issue before but with 7tv extension on Twitch it won't let me scroll down the page with the mouse wheel while browsing live channels. I can still use the up/down arrows though.

Actually it only lets me go down so far with the arrow keys and then it stops working as well. It looks like it's selecting things on the screen when I use the arrow keys to scroll.

Okay I tried to make a video. I'm very inexperienced*** with this so I don't know how it will turn out. But during the video you can see it lock up after I scroll a bit. I also refreshed the page multiple times and it stays locked up. Then I showed how I can still use the arrow keys to kind of scroll up and down, but that has it's limits.

It seems my browser version is different from yours visually speaking so maybe that's the problem?

Okay so what I've learned is that it's inconsistent with the lock-ups. It seems to happen every other time, or when I refresh the page. Refreshing the page causes it to lock up often.

Simply just translating them on crowdin wont make the translation appear on the site, nor make you eligible to the badge

Unless there are any Norwegian mod or staffs that can check and approve your translations

Running into an issue with SLOBS where the 7TV icon for the emote menu isn't showing up anymore. Used to replace the default and seems to have started happening about a week or so ago. Extension is enabled in the FFZ CC. Any idea what could be causing this?

Yeah it'll sometime desync, in part it's the lack of a resume system (it was disabled due to performance concerns) which causes clients to lose subscription data

Yeah Microsoft purposely breaks AVIF support for some reason

every time they update Edge from the upstream Chromium, they have to manually remove AVIF support

because Chromium (Chrome's base) supports it just fine

I'm not sure exactly how it works for 7TV emotes

My guess would be that the thing that's loading 7TV emotes is outdated

like, maybe it's trying to load the emotes from an old api or something
