in my twitch account, i am unable to delete messages from users in chat. it does not matter if i am the broadcaster or a moderator. i simply cannot delete a message. and i purposefully wrote "in my twitch account" as it works in other accounts. i am not using the standard "delete, timeout, ban" buttons that twitch provides (no issues there). i am using the 7tv buttons. as soon as i press "delete" nothing happens on my side. but on chats side i sent a code, i think it is a message id (ex.: "7b00ef99-f781-4456-bf50-8e462d677932") from the message i tried to delete. the code does not appear on my screen though. if chat didn't tell me that i was sending random codes, i wouldn't even notice. the weird thing is, that timeouts work perfectly, it is just the delete button, that is not working properly. please help.

I needa help with how 7TV sets work? I want to create sets for Christmas/halloween/ etc

when I create a new set I am able to originate a set from the original, but then I cant remove emotes from the "new" set is there a way to copy the set and have it originate?

if I want to remove an emote from the "new" set but keep it in the original set, I cant as it originates from the new origin, which is annoying cuz I wanna be able to create a completely seperate set which doesnt affect the new one

An easy way to manage seasonal set is to:

1. Leave your main non-seasonal emote set alone for now, keep it assigned to your streaming channel
2. Make a new seasonal emote set with just the seasonal emotes you want, regardless whether the emote with the same name in the main emote already exists or not
3. In your main emote set, set origin to your seasonal set

From then, you will only need to modify your seasonal set, like adding, removing or renaming emotes, no need to modify or reassign your main emote set at all

let's say the bot command is !add widePeepoHappy , you should check how the SearchEmote query is requested through the 7tv website, then have your bot select which emote to add

so I have this weird thing with Opera GX and the 7tv extension that I almost always have to open the 7tv emotes menu before I can see the emotes in chat, like if I had to "download" them first... happens both with the stable and nightly version and after clearing cache and having chatted in a channel for several minutes. It's a bit annoying, especially with channel with almost 600 emotes... Don't think I had that issues with Chrome and I'd hope there is a simple fix or setting I am missing.

Edit: Nevermind, for now it works perfectly with FrankerFaceZ and Opera GX.

before I "cache" them, its just a empty / black message in place of the emote. Happens on a fresh Opera install without any other extensions as well.

but those chat's must be subscribed to 7tv

anyone can upload a new zero width though, just only subscribers can put them in their chats for anyone to use

Ive had this issue before and it was because I was trying to upload an emote that was too big, could try resizing it smaller

We did put a patch out that increased sets from 600 to 1000, people that joined after that point often got bugged to 600, nothing can be done until we patch it unfortunately

tl;dr it's a known bug, new accounts are locked at 600, you just have to wait

Manual adjustment requests became overwhelming so they've just put a blanket halt on all of them until the bug itself gets squashed (probably when the new website launches, which will definitely for sure happen soon™)
