Hey there, I'm looking to get some help managing emotes for someone.
Back in April I was uploading emotes and LiptonGod transferred ownership of an initial batch from myself (RedFishAU) to the streamer I mod for (Akari), since they are for her channel.

We've now hit a sticking point where I cannot update the name of the emotes that were transferred, which is being done as part of efforts to make the emotes more in-line with current naming conventions. My permissions suggest I should be able to edit the emote names,but seems not.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to do these while Akari is still owner, but otherwise maybe have them transferred back under my name?

you may be using an outdated/unsupported client as whatever it is you're using, are not emitting presence signals that would let other users see your cosmetics

make sure you're using the latest version of the official 7tv extension

i would attempt some clean slate installs, note that you have to actually type from the chat with the extension. for example if youre using the twitch mobile app, it definitely wont emit presences

An emote will get listed only after it is approved by moderators, until then it will not be listed, which mean wont show up in the Emote tab and thus cant be searched
However, you can still use the emote by enabling it channels, or share the emote link for others to enable

hi! last couple days i haven't been able to make 7tv work. im using opera gx and i didn't make any changes in my browser nor twitch config, but the extension still suddenly stopped working. whenever i join a stream, 7tv just doesn't work. the emote menu icon doesn't appear and the chat functions as if it was regular twitch. it seems there might be something making the extension go undetected or smth. i've tried refreshing the stream, re-installing the extension, deleting browser cookies, etc. nothing works. any idea on how to solve it?
