Good afternoon. I had a 7tv connected to my twitch account. I recently changed my name on twitch, and now my account seems to have disappeared, I can’t help but re-login to 7tv, or in the extension, it constantly connects to the old nickname and it’s impossible to change it. Is it possible to somehow reconnect to a new nickname 7tv? + I still have an active subscription to 7TV ....

Your account name on 7tv will not change

It will always be the name you signed up with, for now

If you're able to see your subscriber cosmetics in chat, then it's still linked

Unless you unlinked your twitch from 7tv if you had another account like discord connected to it

If you unlinked you can just right click the sign in button, and select another platform you had linked, then on your profile just reconnect twitch

It won't have let you unlink if you didn't have another platform selected

Note though that your name will still not change once you relink again

@junior dragon Heya, we delete emotes that can get a streamer banned if showed on their stream. The emote you uploaded would not pass if it were shown on a stream. This is to keep users safe. It's the speed, blushing, and facial expression which makes it stand out. This is just to make sure streamers aren't banned because of us. We will have a public emote guidelines viewable in our new website which is currently in the works

there are no other steps you need to perform

the buttons along the left side panel are for accounts which are not linked

pressing those buttons allows you to link one of those account types

This is a chatterino issue that pajlada himself needs to fix since the link resolver api is his, but I assume that will not happen since the twitter api had its prices changed.

Yeah as stated above this is a chatterino issue, our fork just adds 7tv features but doesn't touch the rest of chatterino

But, I assume they will not fix this, since the Twitter API is locked behind a paywall now, that's the reason it stopped working

getting banned on twitch would not affect your 7tv sub
but you probably wouldnt be able to login to your 7tv account since that requires twitch login
so you might not be able cancel your 7tv sub unless u contact an admin about it
or if you have linked your discord account to your 7tv account, you can login with discord instead

yea but twitch restricts to only 60 frames and it has to be a gif. With webp we can get much better quality with the same filesize

exporting with 50fps seems to have fixed it. but would love to work with you to get the best/most efficient exporting for 7TV 🙌

just for your information, channels in the initial version wont be automatically switched to the newer version, and deleting only the initial version will corrupt the emote

To clarify, you can't add a channel to an emote. You can have the channel add the emote to their emote set

if you are the channel owner or editor. you can either right click the emote card, or press the Use Emote (or the list icon next to it) to add it to the channel emote set

If you are not the channel owner or editor, you can try link the emote to the channel and tell them to add the emote

Nah. 128x128 is the ideal size for square emotes. The only limitations on size are 1000x1000 pixels, and 7 MB

As far as reasons it might be getting rejected, I know the mods will reject any emote that they believe to be a twitch sub emote where the streamer hasn't given permission for it to be reuploaded to 3rd party emote services.

Since u've just uploaded the emote recently, it is still unlisted by default until a mod approves it (and currently the queue for emote approval is quite long)

And as to why it is rejected for personal use: Personal emotes required it to be enabled in at least 50 channels.
In case you dont know, personal emotes are emotes that u can choose to use in any channel like global emotes.

You can still enable the unlisted emote in your own channel. Unlisted just means it is not posted publicly and wont be found by anyone through searching
