I have been using a 7TV subscription for 9-10 months and for the last 3-4 months users with the 7TV extension do not see my 7TV badge and color, although users with FFZ extension and Chatterino Homies see everything fine. I installed 7TV stable and nightly versions separately on two browsers and everything was displayed fine for me. Below I attached 3 screenshots from my friend, at my request he also installed Chatterino Homies and 7TV and FFZ extensions in two different browsers. What could be the problem and why exactly is the 7TV extension not displaying my badge and color to other users? My nickname in 7TV is kr1pt0ni, I hope you can help me with this problem.

Old clients such as the one you're using do not emit information about cosmetics. This means newer clients such as chatterino and the official extension will not see it unless you type from an up to date client

the reason you still see anything at all on some older clients is they query the deprecated endpoint, which will stop working entirely on November 1st

To resolve this download the official 7tv extension and get chatterino from our website

requesting help for issue with 7TV emotes not appearing in my Twitch Streamlabs chat box overlay
my issue:

• I have 7TV emotes enabled on my twitch

• I can see the emotes perfectly fine in my stream chat and in the chat boxes of other streamer

• but my overlay with streamelements is having chat box on the screen and it was working earlier today, but then something happened (not sure what), and now the 7TV emotes aren't showing up on my streamelements chat box overlay and they just show up as letter text

• the 7TV emotes still show up perfectly fine in my stream chat box and chat boxes of streamers I go to, but the emotes don't show up in the streamelements overlay

anyone have fixes to this? any help is appreciated

I've always wondered why the easier, seemingly more granular control doesn't allow you to set it up the way you want

but twitch is defined as required

because you can't change required permissions after an extension is published

on the chrome web store

without disabling it for all users

so its legacy from when the extension was twitch only and disabling it on twitch didnt make sense

So I'm a mod in my friends stream and he made me an editor to be able to add 7TV emotes to his stream and he said he initially added around 70 but only 2 actually came through on the extension and I also added around 5 and initially they showed up but one didn't so I refreshed Twitch and all the ones I just added disappeared but on 7TV they say they're still added to his stream. no its different. in edge (7tv on) the message is like dimmed. Its semi transparent so everyone knows its deleted. In chrome for the past two 2 days there is no indication that its deleted. The link is there and everyone can click on it

There are betweens 5-8k uploads a day , currently the queue has been backed up due to low mod activity so it can take some time

If it's not approved within 4 days then it probably was denied for listing

Does anyone know what I can do to unlink an account? I somehow have my Kick linked to one account and my Twitch linked to another account. I need them to be together as I am an editor for multiple other accounts on my Kick account. I also don't have a way to log in to the 7TV account with the Kick on it (my main 7tv account). I logged out once through Opera and cannot get back in it (since it's not signed in with Twitch, Discord, or Youtube.) If it wasn't for having it signed in on Chrome, I'd have lost the account for good.

i think what happened, was you tried to link discord, but it was still linked

so instead it logged you into the dummy account again

and then you tried to link something after that, thinking you were still on the new one

and then they both got linked to the wrong one

you'll have to actually wait for the account to be handled now though
