Does your "old" twitch account have an old username? If yes, you need to sign out and sign in again, so it will refresh the twitch connection -> then you can link it to your kick again.

1. Emotes have to be approved for personal usage (not to be confused with the usual emote approval procedure). As personal emotes, they shouldnt be toxic or used as harassment.

2. Personal emotes can be used any where. Any viewers with the 7tv extension should be able to see it

If it opens that window, that usually means the clip is created. The trimming interface just fails to load sometimes, but that doesn't seem to be related to 7tv

it just makes a default 30 second clip

the 30 second clips get created instantly as soon as you click the button. Trimming it causes some re-encoding to happen.

Still getting this same error, in a new instance:

A given emote has been successfully uploaded, applied to channel, and approved by 7TV.
Using 'New Version, uploading a file of same size and dimension as the original (different size, not a duplicate file).
This 'New Version' upload succeeds, and I can access the menu where I can set a custom name and apply it to channel.
Upon applying to a given channel I still receive the error "he provided hex string is not a valid ObjectID."

The name field loaded with default/blank, but with applying a name I still receive the error.
In re-loading, the new version was applied anyway.
So, for anyone with the message seems the best course of action is just wait...

Paints are not set through the extension, you need to sign in on the website and hit 'Edit Profile' to access your wardrobe.

The paint tools within the extension are for creating paints to be submitted in the future, but are not persistent nor representative of the paints you have access to. Also paints you test using the "Try On" option in the extension are only shown to you locally, and will not persist between tabs or refreshes.

i found a fix: deactive the extension and then re-enable it again to whoever has the same issues

@neat shale if someone has the emote enabled and then the owner of that emote deletes the emote, it will show up in all user's emote sets as that until they click on the emote and then remove it from their channel via the menu

All moderators can transfer the emote but its only usually for if the original creator of the emote does not have the emote

Been trying to figure out a solution for some streamers while streamlabs haven't fixed the v3 API issue and that website is NOT it. Dunno why it's "recommended", it's a lot less customizable.

But in tests, global 7TV emotes do show up so it's strange that an API update would break channel/custom emotes and not global ones

How are you supposed to update an emote? I uploaded a new version, but the old version stayed, so instead there was two versions of the same emote. Then when I went to delete the old version, it deleted both emotes at once.

Fair, but I'm not sure what makes chatis better apart from supporting 7TV. Actual streamers who had been using the streamlabs widget were of the same opinion. But 7TV emotes began to show up today, and streamlabs confirmed on their discord that they fixed the issue

So, I've created an account and connected it to my Twitch account. I've created an emote set and I've tried clicking the checkbox next my channel under to "Assign to channel(s)" but when I hit save changes and go back into the settings for that emote set, it is no longer checked. And when I check my stream, there's no indication of the emotes being added to the channel. I assume I'm missing some setting somewhere, but I can't figure it out and all my attempts to google it haven't come up with anything.
