when I try to download the new version of 7tv, Firefox will go "The Add-on couldn't be downloaded, due to a connection error". I had to do this, because my version was stuck on 3.0.0 and also partly didn't work anymore. Since there was a thread here that described the same problem I tried the solution described in there, which was, remove the add-on from Firefox completely and reinstall via the 7tv website. If I do that I get the result I described before... anyone got an idea on this?

The problem is one of your editor with the ID of 631d4d3f4f3e0f1fc59f9fc5 got their 7tv profile removed
and somehow didnt reflect the change in your editor list
hence there was an error in trying to load that editor

That can only be solved by the devs for now i think (or mods idk)
but for curiosity sake, ask around your editors and see whose profile was/got removed

More or less I think It just fixed on it's own. What I might have done is I might've been switching paints too quick.

I wrote a summary on it for better explanation I guess you can say.

For better explanation, I did nothing really. I think I was switching paint's so fast that the api couldn't catch up and just ended up breaking entirely on my side. Not being able to see paints, Not being able to equip a paint and Not even being able to equip a badge. After that I closed the one other tab I had open, re-tried and that didn't seem to work. I waited a bit closed all tabs re-opened chrome entirely, Cleared all my cookies from the 7tv website and tried again. luckily enough that didn't seem to work either. Waited a bit more and tried again and that time It actually managed to work. It's going to sound kinda ridiculous but after I equipped the paint and the badge I typed in chat and that seemed to have sorta refreshed it I guess you can say because it ended up showing. What I kept doing before is equip the paint and badge then I just simply refreshed the page, Mainly because that usually works. I don't know if I broke the api by switching paints too fast or if I just needed to type in chat this entire time but I managed to fix it.

I tried explaining to the best of my ability but its 2 am so my brain is pretty slow.

• Update your Chrome to the latest Ver
• Uninstall bttv extension if you have it (sometimes this causes compatibility issues)

alright so these are the line of events that I did. I connected my account and wait the 10 seconds, it prompts me to explore adding emotes, then takes me to the page where im signed in on my correct 7tv account, I now then go check my profiles linked accounts and kick is not there so im guessing it has now just made another fresh account? also my subscriber colors are not showing in chat either which is another indicator I'm on a fresh account. Yeah the kick process created an entirely new account separate from my twitch account, instead of linking them together as one. So I'll wait until tomorrow, and appreciate your hard work.

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to get 7tv emotes working with my chat overlay? I checked the latest api docs and I didn't see Kick . I'm assuming it is so new there isn't , but I have saw some Overlays supporting it already

Have the extension installed on your browser, go to kick, then go into your extensions and click on it, it'll say enable for kick, follow the instructions from there

7TV emotes are not showing on Streamlabs or Streamelements chat overlays anymore.

I tried toggling settings, reinstalling addons, disabling addons, I updated obs...

Only 7TV global extension emotes are showing. To be clear they still show on my Twitch channel, not in the overlay.

It's not letting me post the issue in #1011978838848311316 and I did not find any similar problems reported via search

it's seems like you havent made an emote set

in your profile page, add a new emote set first

then in the Migrate page, select the emote set you've just created to add the imported emotes

then it will start loading emotes from your bttv channel

So i've been trying to link my kick to 7tv, i'm trying to follow the steps on the webpage however i can't get passed the first step pretty much. When i go on kick with the extension installed and click on the extension there is no "Enable 7tv for kick.com" button, just an "onboarding" button which i've gone through multiple times and the kick profile never shows up on my profile page.

Hello, I would like to know how to DM someone on the chat? because on the basic twitch chat you can send a whisper by clicking on the nickname but now I do not see this option with 7TV, how can we do to make it back keeping 7tv? please thanks !

you can just click this in the top right and then click whisper

or you could turn the usercard off but that is your choice

both will open the whisper tab

Followed the guide to add kick, did exactly what it said multiple times after struggling to get the "enable 7tv for kick.com" button to show up. And still no Kick.com. Getting a bit aggrivated now, been trying to do this for about an hour and a half. Any help would be great.
