Is renaming bugging for anyone else? I rename Pogeg to Poge for someone I am editing for and it renames some other random emote (Binoculars). I rename Binoculars to its original name, but it never changed. I then remove the renamed Binoculars emote, readd it, then it says there's a conflict with ANOTHER random emote (FeelsLagMan) that was renamed Binoculars.

He should check your privileges. You need "Modify Emotes" to see his set when adding emotes. If he only granted you "Use Personal Emotes" for example you'd still be shown as an editor, even though you couldn't add emotes to his set.

Did you click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom as well? If yes, do you use the v2 extention (normal) or v3 extension (beta). If normal, changes may take up to an hour to appear. If beta, changes should appear as soon as you type your next message in chat.

emotes of any size need to be under 7 MB

if animated, it needs to have fewer than 1000 frames

technically you can upload images up to 1000x1000 pixels, but it will get shrunk down to a height of 128 or a width of 384

which means the maximum 1x emote size would be 96x32 pixels

Those settings seems to work to disable on Twitch and then i can click to enable, BUT when I then go to YT the 7TV app says it doesn't even need or want access to YT. I am forced to Uninstall and Reinstall the 7TV Extension so I get prompted with the "Allow YT" page. Think I'll just give up. Thanks for the suggestion though 😦

@tulip solstice Ah great. I think that did the trick. So I set Twitch to "When you click the extension", which then also disables YT, but then I went to that link and allowed YT access there. Very finicky but it works now. Would be so much easier if 7TV allowed us to enable YT by itself from the sliders in the Permissions menu of the Extension Details.

I uploaded two gifs for emotes a few weeks back and they still haven't appeared available, did I do something wrong?

The submit process seemed pretty straight forward but maybe I missed something?

Please ensure that the dimensions of your emotes are under 1000x1000 pixels, that it has less than 1000 frames, and that it is under 7 megabytes large.

Hi I'm having some issues as moderator with adding/deleting emotes from a channel I'm mod to: Basically monday everything working perfectly. Now I try to add an emote to the channel but it doesnt show that it is added. Only after refresh it becomes added (On the 7tv . app site as well as on twitch). It also doesnt give a msg in the chat on twitch where it ussually does give a msg that an emote has been added or removed. Is this a known problem?

Hello, good afternoon. I have a problem with this streamer (Makenroow) of which I am an editor at 7TV. The thing is, when I try to assign emotes, I get the list of all the other channels I'm an editor on, except the one I said above. As seen in the video, I am an editor but it still does not let me do these actions. If someone from the 7TV moderation could help me, I would be grateful.

they dont have a set - make sure they go on the site and add at least 1 emote themselves and it will work as normal

Does anyone know how name paints work? Do you only get the colors that were given out while you were subbed or should it be retroactive?

depends on how active the mods are. can be 10 minutes, can be a day. you can still use a not approved emote for your channel tho

if it's stuck on upload 100% it means the file was too big, make sure it's below 7mb

For some reason "allow on all websites" option is grayed out for this extension and it only works on twitch.tv domain. Would be nice if I could use 7TV on external sites that use embeded twitch chat.

if you mean working by seeing the 7tv emotes, its because i guess they enabled 7tv through ffz i dont think 7tv alone is supported but you can do this
