It's a twitch bug perhaps made slightly worse due to 7tv having bigger emotes. Twitch increased the sensitivity of their scroll pauser

But if you don't specify a correct emotename or channel then it errors so. Idk how to handle that part. Might just have to use a if statement to use the errors I'm getting

Thanks for your support! We understand your frustration.
It's hard to build and maintain a large scale app and sometimes other features require more attention than others.

You are right it is a bad way to deal with a notification issue. However it is quite harmless since you are only not allowed to upload emotes for 3 days.

As of the lack or rules. You are right and we will be making changes to make them a bit more clear. I don't deal with moderation. I usually take problems which are too hard for others to solve and or nobody wants to solve them.

I urge you to remind yourself that 7tv is actually run by 3 people. 2 developers and 1 lead of moderation. We try to provide the best service to everyone and sometimes we fall short and we are sorry for that.

However that being said it would be greatly appreciate if you would take that into consideration before exploding here.

We have roughly 20 volunteers who moderate our service, sometimes moderation decisions don't propagate instantly

Especially since there was nothing inherently wrong with the images being uploaded however it was more like you were uploading them to make art on your profile page. And as cool as that does sound, if we allowed everyone to do this it would quickly start costing our free to use app a lot more than we would like.

Hi, I change my Twitch name and After I disconnected and reconnected with 7tv and I was completely disconnected from my old account. So, the emotes i created are in my old account and I can't manage them. Is there a way for me to link my old and new account together? Or, is there any way i can manage my leftover emotes on my old account?

I'm not sure who told you unlinking your Twitch from your account is a good idea, but we don't really support name changes ATM

your name typically wont change on the website, but you wont have reduced functionality

unlinking and relogging in without linking again will just create a new account

if there was a discord tied to your old account you could try logging in with discord

then linking your twitch back to it, through the account menu on your userpage

and an admin can delete your new one

Hey hey, as of yesterday(on google chrome) my 7tv extension has been grayed out and not working? I've also somehow been not allowed to log into the site as well. I click log in and a small window pops up then vanishes and leaves me at the same window I started in.

is there any way to make the true theater mode work on all yt content? some yt streams (like blast cs going on rn) don't have chat and the true theater only seems to work if there's chat but i like having the big player without going fullscreen

there is the workaround of clicking on a stream with chat and then switching to the stream i want and it leaves the button but afaik that's a bug

Then finish dusting off the "AdbulHD Christmas" emote set
Then on the "AbdulHD" emote set > add the Christmas Set as an origin.

Hi all, 7TV seems to hide Twitch clip links in chat. I posted 2 clips in a command, it only shows the thumbnail of 1 clip in the cmd, but doesnt show the 2 links I posted in the command. Disabling 7TV solved the issue. Is there any way to disable this?

It's a bit of a workaround until the V3 7TV extension comes out but have you tried FFZ with BTTV and 7TV as addons?

a one year subscription was made on two profiles (paid in full), then the automatic renewal was removed directly from paypal and not from 7tv, this caused a problem.
I don't have the unlocked (paid) features and they have to be put in manually by a developer or whoever can.
At least that's how Anatole solved it (on one profile only) I forgot to request it on the other profile
