In channels that were renamed recently, 7tv doesn't recognize FFZ emotes, they show up as text if you type them and the emotes don't appear on the 7tv emote menu. The emotes only work if you uninstall 7tv. I use Chrome and I also have BTTV and FFZ installed.

It appears that the OpenGraph meta tags aren't being included in the response from the server, and instead added client side, nullifying most sites like Discord and Twitter from recognizing the meta information at all, since they don't actually execute any page scripts.

Additional issue on chrome: if I tab into a 7tv emote, I can't seem to also tab into a shorter BTTV emote. For example, tabbing from pogo automatically sticks me on PogOrange and prevents me from being able to PogO (also tested with BTTV emote PogT and 7tv emote PogTasty). This problem does not appear to exist on chatterino 7tv, where both PogT and PogTasty can be tabbed into

Similarly, if I tab from the shorter "pog" I cannot get to the 7tv emote PogTasty. I see POGGERS, POGGIES, Pog, PogChamp, PogU (1, 2, 3, and 5 all being from FFZ and 4 being global twitch) and then it loops. I am not sure if this is because they are FFZ emotes, or if 7tv doesn't allow you to tab into an emote that far away?

TAB auto-completion for 7TV emotes are not working anymore in the new update, i'm not sure if Chatterino is having the same problem, but it is a problem on G GLE which is the browser i'm currently using

Anyone experiencing lag when opening the emote menu (FFZ enabled)? When first opening up the menu it loads fine, but as I scroll past FFZ & BTTV emote section to 7TV, it's all blank & just freezes the tab. On a long running browser session this sometimes locks the browser up till I scroll back up & away. But after leaving it frozen like that it finally loads all the emotes and works from then.

Could an issue be, due to the large amounts of emotes a channel may have & that they are constantly animated? Coz it seems even scrolling up away from 7TV section, they are still actively animated rather than only doing so when scrolled into view

Slight update to reproduce this issue. The people that were having alignment issues did NOT have FFZ installed. They had BTTV only with FFZ enabled from within. When they installed FFZ alongside BTTV the alignment issues went away.

@rugged sable OK but this is only for people that use StreamLabs OBS. The streamer uses OBS Studio and uses the StreamLabs Chat Widget as a source. So using the Chat Widget, enabling FFZ emotes and enabling the 7TV addon still doesn't let us see the 7TV emotes.

Hi again, completely different topic now... I feel like there needs to be a "remove alias" button or something, or at least the ability to alias the emote back to the original name. I tested out an alias on peepoGlad, then i wanted to revert it back to "peepoGlad". Removal of the emote didn't help as when it was added back it retained the alias. Ended up renaming it "PeepoGlad" as a bandaid fix for this. (Wasn't sure if this is a bug or suggestion but I put it here anyway) Thanks. 🙂

Can now middle-click on emotes to open it in a new tab, everywhere except a user's profile in their "Emotes by...." section.

If I add an alias FIRST, and then add it to the channel

The chat will still show the original name.

This becomes an issue for PG-rated chats, for example if there is a good emote like https://7tv.app/emotes/60534d029d9e96000d244f0f I renamed it to "OhShoot" and then it still popped up for chat and they all said "OhShit" and it was a mess.

I realize I'm on a fringe case here and we avoid it by not aliasing emotes while live.

Also for clarification, the only reason we were getting the streamer to refresh the overlay was because we were replacing the FFZ emote with the 7TV version and so it needed to be refreshed so it no longer recognised the FFZ version over the 7TV one. I knew about !refreshoverlay, such a good feature. 🙂

OBS doesn't, the script does... it receives every message and when it detects "!refreshoverlay" sent by a mod or the streamer, it triggers a function that reloads the emotes

anyways the problem with this emote, and with ffz in general, is that it's too small, and you can see it yourself on the webpage... the 4x version is just a poorly upscaled 1x

why is 7tv emotes in 7tv chatterino max at 76 pixels high instead of 112 pixels? bttv ffz are all 112 so it looks lower quality in chat. im guessing this been mentioned like a million times. 🤔

@slim delta for some reason it seems that chatterino takes the 1x, 2x, and 3x sizes from 7tv (but not the 4x size), and on ffz since there is no 3x size it takes the 1x 2x and 4x size. no idea why i just looked it up

Hello. Trying to upload an emote. It has 4 frames with only the center of the emote changing. The emote seems to look fine at full size 146x128 both in 7TV and in Photoshop, however for some reason the small versions seems to have some sort of flashing around them when 7TV resizes them. Is there something I can do to fix this, perhaps a change to it in Photoshop? It seemed to be fine in BTTV but I wanted to upload to 7TV instead since the max dimensions were larger. Thanks. 🙂

Okay, so I'm not sure if this is just a me problem, but if I have fzz and 7tv installed I can't see bttv emotes or tab through any extensions emotes, but if I only have 7tv installed I can see bttv, ffz, and tab any ideas? (Same thing happens with the 7tv ffz addon)

With 7TV Enabled via FFZ integrated add-on only without Chome extenstion installed procs a continuous Websocket connection Failed Error
Unselecting the enabled by default  "Enables live 7TV emote updates via Web Socket." checkbox

Installing Chome extension stops the error & removes the "Enables live 7TV emote updates via Web Socket" checkbox```

Whether it is 128x128 doesn't matter apparently, as long as aspect ratio is 1 this issue comes up on some images apparently
